You do not have to use up all three options or vote for every country, but there is a maximum of three. Three shall be the number, and the number shall be three. Five is right out.

Go.
Credit to the guy for the Monty Python reference :D

Are you sure? I'm still debating whether that would be an improvement over our current batch of selectors.

Some people want to make more of it, and that`s fine. I`m just interested to see who people think would make good selectors.

Rather be nominated for SA TBH though any nom is an honour :D

I know the SA scene in far more detail than I do the English ATM. Also there is a lack of Saffies on this board so Im unlikely to get sacked. Gotta think of the career and pension :p

If any vacancy of Pakistan or Bangladesh is left, I can fill up there.
This man really badly wants to be a selector, and none of you are responding to the poor guy, just tell him that he can't be a selector.

Become an ***OFFICIAL*** CricketWeb Selector

The Point - To find out who CricketWeb believes to be the most knowledgable and street-smart in point of selection. We're aiming to have three selectors for each country.

The Criteria - Nominees should be active in their knowledge and passion of nominated country. The nominee does not have to live in or have been born in that country. Voting should be based on your observations of member's posts in relevant threads and if not, valid reasoning should be given. Nominees shouldn't neccessarily agree with the "norm", but a willingness to cooperate with other selectors should have influence. Indeed, in countries which have struggling cricket teams, perhaps a unique view would be more crucial in decision making.

The Rules - Members must be nominated, seconded and thirded. You can not nominate, second or third yourself. When we have enough nominees, we will have a final vote for each country, one country at a time. You can nominate as many people as you'd like. You may nominate someone for multiple countries, but they will ultimately only be chosen to represent one side. Nominees must accept their status before they will be entered into a final ballot.

The Result - When the selectors have been voted in, they will be required to make decisions individually, but ultimately as a squad, in regards to an upcoming tour. After the tour has taken place, we can see how well they predicted and in time, selectors may be voted out and in.

Also, if a moderator could change the title of this thread to 'Battle of the CricketWeb Selectors', that'd be great.
Cheers SS. :)
