Would you be happy if he made the team Stephen?

I think the 3-6 would be Labuschagne Hemphrey Heazlett Wildermuth which leaves both opening spots for grabs (if qlds top 3 are playing Tests). Pfeffer averages 15 but probably gets a go and then youd think Maddinson would get a game too ahead of Max Bryant.

Truloff, Burns and Bryant would be the other QLD contracted bats I think.

I definitely think he would be good to bring up here as a replacement for Renshaw. Her could have a Forrest or Khawaja style form improvement if he came up here.

He's a batsman who has so much potential I'd hate to see him languish in grade.

I think it's as much to give him exposure to international cricket as anything else. He's clearly best at the long form of the game at the moment but it's also too early to being him into the test setup.
