lennon backed up his first innings triple with a double in the second innings. 600 runs in the match, what an effort

Cheap Wickets CC 582/10 (147.4)

Another FC hammering. At least a 3rd days gate recepits makes up for it.

Won by two wickets after conceding a first innings deficit of just shy of 100 runs (he scored 171 & 290, I scored *achem* 92 and 362)

Nice one. Wasn't expecting that at the end of day one when he was 190-0 after being bowled out and having bowled me out.

Dynamo Morpork 367-7d (105)
S Porter 129*, D James 69, J Lester 48
D Beresford 3/97 (31)

Blue Hoops CC 404-5d (119)
C Keigher 256*, E Acton 59, A Da Silva 55

Dynamo Morpork 283-4d (62)
M Virk 142, S Herbert 83*
A Da Silva 3-46 (13)

Blue Hoops set 246 to win in 44 overs.

Must say I'm slightly nervous about the declaration, but figured it was worth a go. Hopefully Keigher is unfit after his monster knock yesterday.

Tuning in, sounds good.

EDIT: Haha they need 79 runs in 3 overs. Think you're gonna make it mate.

Only resting one bloke for my OD today, on GFI aswell. Not expecting to run close, but it will be good to see where my team stands.

Yeah, was easy in the end. Still annoyed at losing by a bonus point though...all in all, 18 wickets fell in three days on a green pitch. (Though tbf there was five remarkable bats in action and just one remarkable bowler who's fit.)

Bit of a league final next week, facing Canton CC who managed to beat The Bosstones and are on four wins. They don't have a great squad but they have one good batsman and a couple of decent bowlers who are still fit, so I fear something similar to this week.

Table

Canton 88
Dynamo Morpork 85
Blue Hoops 84
Bosstones 66 (Prem side with the best squad on paper!)

Time to toss one-day.

Somehow picked a fee/med/med bowler at first change, even though I checked it three times between last night and this morning. Haha. Would be more angry except the guy he's replacing isn't that tops and it's a good deck for the pacemen. Still expect him to get treated though. :D

Harris & Stroud have us off to a steady start. Restning noone PAN, should be a close contest according to ratings.

Motoring along ok at the moment - this is the first over we've been under 8 for a while. I meant to change things around and put in a few new players, but I forgot!

Holmes gets a dodgy LBW.

A bit dissapointed with this start on GFI. Hopefully we can keep them to 260-270.

Haha, thriller of a game.

Getting screwed by a collapse here (y) 7-226 now, Orourke & Walton the 2 to go. Doesn't look like i'll even bat out the 50 at this rate.

EDIT: Make that 8-229, Groves gone. Moloto keeps hitting ****ing singles, i want boundaries or 2's ffs.

9-fer now, Savage gone, tool of a bloke, takes a single of the last ball of the over, then gets out 1st ball of the next one. Give the strike to Moloto ffs!!!!!!!

All out ffs

End of Over 49: 231-10, runrate=4.71
Clarke 9-0-40-5
Moloto* 11 (15 balls)

Moloto the stupid git kept taking singles off the first ball of the over :@:@
