Need to get my fitness up for next week's match, so I'm TIEing today against the #3 side, who had better ratings than me in their last match. Thoroughly expecting to lose and drop back to #2, but as long as I beat the current #2 next week (therefore moving back to #1) it's all good. Won the toss and batting first, 35-0 after 8.

ah the tables have been updated and im top on NRR now, not bad after losing the first 2, now 8-2 after 10 - 63rd in the promotion table though so i guess i'll have to have a playoff if im to be promoted

Don't know exactly, but I doubt you'll have to wait more than a week (there's nearly 400 free teams in NZ), a team joined on Tuesday or Wednesday in the division I'm in.
