Finally got my ITS, put all 35 into this YP:

Len Geary (959347)
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A steady player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Put it all into bowling/cons/stam, would've been decent if I had gone batting/conc instead. Oh well, all 130 ITS into mediocre primary players. Might be able to get a decent price for him.

hmm, tbh, maybe train him up to competent stamina, but otherwise, i wouldn't bother with anymoer training on him, because he is getting too old to be trained, when nets would be better served on younger players with far more potential

In Regards to Paris below i only have 2 nets available for him and was thinking should i get his stamina up to respectable or competent before i go to fielding?

No pops for me, but then, I'm not really expecting any for a little while.

It's pretty interesting, seeing what levels people are at. Seems that quite a few people are using multiple primary nets on single players, which is something I've been avoiding.

I've got two 19yo's, a 20yo and two 22yo's in my starting lineup, all strong or above in primary stats...all but one have strong secondary stats, too. So, all of them are getting trained, mostly with one net each.

The one exception is Reed, my 23yo remarkable/quality batsman - he's getting trained to wonderful (hopefully towards the end of this season) and then left until he's a few years older...after which I'll try and get his concentration to match.

My plan's always been to improve my team as a unit - at first, I was getting beaten by teams with one or two star players, but it's all starting to come good now - two remarkable batsmen seem to be a match for most bowling lineups, and three superb (incl. one quality) bowlers are doing a good job of restricting the scores.

Hopefully, it'll be even better when the FC games get going :)

Just had a look at your squad, pretty impressive depth. 10 players with BTR ~15,000+, should set you up well if you have a long-term training regime in place.

No pops for me for the first time in a while, should get a couple of primaries next week (incl. Watkins to exceptional).

Cheers!

I got a few decent yoofs early on (seasons 1 and 2), and generally trained them rather than sell them. My only worry at the moment is that my youngest trainees are 19yo - I'm hoping to get some 17/18yos in, later this season, who'll end up getting multiple nets as the "senior" players start to hit 22/23yo.

So, current training regime will sort of run out in 2 or 3 seasons' time - hopefully by then a new one will be in place, concentrating on one or two players for the team...and later one or two to sell on.

I agree, to an extent. Last season, I didn't use any multiple primary nets and I managed to get my core players to a decent level (well, strong+) as well as training a 17yo who I sold for 1mil. I have 3 players, a batsman/keeper, an allrounder and a bowling, who I am keeping on 1 primary net (or 2 if they are allrounders) until they hit remarkable or so, which should be the end of next season. I'll also have two strong "fillers" who won't be outstanding but will offer depth along the way. These 3 batsmen and 3 bowlers will be the base from which I train up 17yos on multiple primary nets - so I can still have a decent team whilst I'm waiting for my trainees to peak. Right now I'm training a 17yo prof on 2 nets, next season I'll add another 17yo, then once those 3 players I mentioned before hit ~remarkable, I'll add another 2 trainees. So I'm getting my team to a decent level (filling in gaps) then focusing on 3-4 players at a time, which I think is the best way to do it.

Seems a fair idea. Planning to get a 17/18 year old bolwer in the transfer market/ YP pull before the next training. What about his PFL though? Rest him for a few games and seeing he'll be using less nets he should get to a decent level in how long? BTW I'm out of the cup.

I got similar players with poor secondaries, but decent primaries. I planning to give them a fielding net with they are 20 and 21, when its likely to be more effective. I would suggest you do the same thing, but if his not performing then maybe you should give him a fielding net sooner.

But your probably better off not listening to me, as im still learning the game.
