Haha yeah. Nah, my orders definitely weren't changed, though I'm not too upset - got 20 overs out of my "deadbeat" bowlers for around 30 runs and 3-4 wickets, plus Rayno only bowled 1 over so he'll be fresh for my OD game.

Annoyed about the gate receipts though...

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD

My opening bowler (feeble stamina) is getting absolutely flogged. He's bowled 14 overs out of 45 and neither of my spinners with respectable staminas have bowled an over!

End of Over 46: 164-5, runrate=3.57
Liyanage 7-5-5-2
Mohammed* 32 (45 balls)
Singh 1 (14 balls)
Last Wicket: Howe b. Liyanage 13 (FOW: 161/5)

End of Over 51: 320-2, runrate=6.27, lead by 205 runs
(Sloggers FC 115-10)
Graham 17-2-74-1
Bhutia* 124 (126 balls)
Gray 38 (31 balls)

Let's just say, if games are lost, Allan is more or less dead. No ifs or buts. Jones had stroked his way to a mighty century, Bhutia was there, we looked set to reach 350 by the end of the day's play... FFS ****

Some people have declared in the first over, Rob's bowling orders are messed up, some games haven't started, and no gate receipts have been received.
Surely declaring in first over is to do with declaration targets set though?

I wouldn't say gate receipts is a bug either really - only if we don't get them at all...

brenoevo, I think it might be a bug with how they've set it up at the end of the day's play, because apparently matches are working in other countries.

Update at lunch:

End of Over 12: 49-0, runrate=4.08, lead by 1 runs
(sinnakone 48-10)
Dias 6-1-24-0
Nurse* 32 (35 balls)
Girubaharan 11 (39 balls)

Thats first innings, too bad there no first innings points.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is just the end of the day. You can change your orders, but you can't change the batting line up or the captain and keeper. You'd think it'd give you the scorecard, though

When I click on Rob's game, it says that the commentary will commence shortly. So looks like it might be broke.

And there's an orders page for Rob's game available to me, and when I click on it it links me to my team and the orders I've set.

Well I must say that I was quite surprised by today's games. Lots of games seemed to have batsmen striking at 5 or 6 an over, so it seems my thinking that most players would be better suited on defensive or normal may be wrong. That said, am keeping Farmer on defensive given his marathon 30 (103), which really helped the team. Was also surprised by Canning-- a superb/respectable attacking batsman, set on very attacking, against at times a competent bowler, and he ended up with a SR of only around 50. Then again, the slow strike rates of him and my team could just be to do with the pitch, which was dusty.

So, I'm planning on making a few changes to the team overnight; have put my other opener on attacking now to partner Farmer. I'm also considering putting Griffin from normal to defensive, or maybe attacking, so that he either stays in, or scores some runs quickly. I'm also definitely taking my parttimer Drench off his bowling priority and going in with just the 5 bowlers. He may have taken two wickets, but they were tailenders, and I'm sure that my strong and proficient spinners could have done better than a mediocre fast bowler on a dusty pitch. Anyone else making any changes?

The orders page is the normal one, just with the batting order and captain/keeper options locked in so you can't change them. The aggresion, priority and spell orders are still changeable though.

I just dont get it ive got a feeling that allan was pressured to have it out for this season as a result of last season's postponement but didnt look at the whole scale of things to see if everything was correct and workable

Lost my first wicket

Last Wicket: Girubaharan b. Gunatilleke 11 (FOW: 64/1)

The experiment of opening with Girubaharan again didn't really work. It took him 50 balls to get his 11 runs, so i guess he saw of the new ball. Might drop him down to 7 next game or put him on attacking.

Hehe. When your spinner did come on he wrecked it, tho. :D

You could've given it ten years and there would still be bugs - it's just not possible to make a change this big and not have any problems. Considering that Allan has no background in programming I'm surprised it has run relatively smoothly (if you were around for the first season of BT you'd know what I'm talking about). FC has been postponed for the last two seasons, so I'd say he did "look at the whole scale of things to see if everything was correct and workable".

High scoring match for me today!!!... well if you add the total of their 1st innings (128) my 1st innings (90) and the start of their second innings (2-18)it was!!

After my opponents decided to bat, and were going at 7 an over after 6 things didn't look Good. That was until Meyer(respectable/feeble, 9-0-21-3) & Walton (respectable/feeble, 10-1-30-4) came on and caused a collapse from 105-2 to all out for 128. They then combined to score 26 & 37 respectively in my total of 90:blink: .

I had them at 2-18 (thanks again to Meyer who came on early after 1 of my openers had 9 runs taken off of his 1st over) at the close of day.

Well my commentary is no longer up. I do know that Mccammon was over 150* and Saunders had just reached his century
