BARNES OUT
So hmm, my orders were reset again (4th time, :O) before the match and it seems I didn't notice, so my two worst bowlers opened the bowling (one a spinner) and my 2nd best bowler won't even bowl, what a day.

Hope we can change bowling orders overnight, otherwise heads will ****ing roll.

bah im all out for jus 127 in only 40 overs with a lead of 88 runs. Only Kennedy with 72 (86) and Westhead left 19 (40) not out managed to get some runs. There is still about 42 odd overs left in my match so will probably see a result by then if my bowlers can reproduce what they did in the 1st innings.

looks like it will be all over on the first day

0.1 W Westhead to Holdsworth
A bit of reverse swing and he tears the middle stump out. Fantastic bowling!!

Mcmahon 1-0-6-0
Bhutia* 24 (27 balls)
Jones 50 (60 balls)

Last Wicket: Houlihan b. Graham 14 (FOW: 52/1)

Take a bow, Geraint, Anchormen's first 50 in FC and he's scored exactly half our runs in exactly half our balls.

W Baptiste to Zuwahir
Must be LBW. Must be LBW! MUST BE LBW! It's carnival time for Baptiste

Baptiste gets my first wicket in FC! :D

I don't know why Dowdall didn't open from the other end, I'm pretty sure he was set at 1. Also a nice 41k from gate receipts.

Gavin Canning!!!
Top scores with 46 in our 173, and then delivers this:

Code:
3.6 W	Canning to Connell
Pitched up and pushed to cover. Connell wanted a run but was sent back. Tedstone threw the ball in and Parr did the rest. Connell was well short.
3.5 .	Canning to Connell
We would like to thank Mrs. Miggins for sending us this most splendid fruit cake. Absolutely delicious! And, by the way, that was a dot ball.
3.4 W	Canning to Canham
Thick inside edge onto the pads, Canning has the cheek to appeal..... The umpire's given it! Unbelievable, he's practically middled that one! Huge show of dissent from Canham there, he'll be lucky to keep his full match fee.
3.3 .	Canning to Canham
That one shaped away nicely but Canham wasn't tempted and just shoulders arms to let it go through to Parr.
3.2 W	Canning to Dures
Dures looks behind him in dismay after Canning's cutter rearranged his stumps. That image will be in his nightmares for a long time to come.
Admittedly, the last one was a run out, but still. Gun.

End of Over 4: 2-3, runrate=0.50, trail by 171 runs
(Magical Ponies 173-10)
Canning 2-2-0-2
Warrington* 2 (12 balls)
Lisbie 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Connell Run Out 0 (FOW: 2/3)

Yep, I certainly did. Was sick of "Robertinho Select XI". Btw, I notice that you're in III - how embarrassing for NZ cricket.

Canning gets their last good batsman, a superb, for 18. And four balls later, Tedstone gets his second run out. Definitely on top now :D

How irritating, I appear to be the only one who's not whittled their opponents out!

Lunch:
End of Over 35: 139-4, runrate=3.97
Malik 9-0-35-0
Howe* 2 (7 balls)
Mohammed 22 (21 balls)
Last Wicket: Tau c. Malik b. Liyanage 22 (FOW: 135/4)

My priorities must have been messed up, as Sekani (quality/med) came on second change when he was down lower than that. I think what is happening is that it is playing very much like a real game as in the seamers will bowl first no matter what priorities then spinners will be introduced and from then on, it is priorities all the way.

Guessing having superb captains should be of great use in this because a lot is left to captain's discretion during the day!

EDIT: And hello betty, 112k from gate receipts for one day...I'll have a bit of that. :D

PY, I chose spinners at 2 & 3, and #2 opened, and #3 replaced my other opener after his first over. Also, I didn't get gate receipts! :(

Ohhhh of course. That'd explain why Drench (priority 9, but RF bowl) would have come on first change.

Seems like none of Aus have got their gate receipts then? No-one wanted to watch you guys. :p

And Rob, I've no idea why yours has done that unless your orders were reset like Smithy's (how did you find out?) or the priorities for first 3 bowlers don't change depending on seamers?

I'm clutching at straws here but it's quite good fun trying to figure it all out. :)
