but when you set your bowling orders it goes

max overs - min overs - runs per over allowed b4 being replaced... or somthink like that

A beautiful reverse swinger by Varney has left Batt's bat swinging at thin air. Middle stump takes off like a rocket and hits Cuss in the leg. Ouch. Or, should I say, Out-ch. Sorry, I'll get my coat.

End of Over 33: 123-5, runrate=3.73
Walton 7-0-28-1
Francis* 8 (14 balls)
Soleyn 5 (18 balls)

I'm bowling, Meyer (7-0-14-3) going off!! Suprised that i'm not being belted, but i'm not complaining...

Had a dilema with bowling orders though... My 5th priority bowler came in at first change  then went for 12 and was taken off straight away... so i guess they sort of work

I think the spell run rate is next to useless if it's working as I think it is. Basically it seems like if the first over goes for over that spell run rate they're taken off, so you have to set it reasonably high otherwise you just get people bowling one over spells, but then someone could get milked nicely and because you've set the spell run rate to 8 or whatever they could have 4-0-30-0 ie something obviously crap and they'd keep on bowling...

Parr 4 (9 balls)
Last Wicket: Farmer lbw b. Whittingham 30 (FOW: 96/6)

Absolutely rubbish batting from the Ponies. Only my opener Farmer (30 off 104) managed to hang around and do anything.

BARNES OUT
Munroe digging in and Hodge showing just how gun he is, love that bloke so much. Playing a Div.III OD side so expecting a pasting, hope Munroe can slap a century.

End of Over 43: 125-6, runrate=2.91
Wharton 5-1-20-0
Munroe* 57 (112 balls)
Hodge 23 (36 balls)

Crap! game could be over by the end of today. If i bat out the day and dont score 400 i might make my declaration target higher so i can get gate reciept for the next 2 days.

Ponies break the 150, thanks to a six from worthless/worthless Fernando

End of Over 54: 150-8, runrate=2.78
Horne 15-1-46-3
Fernando* 7 (14 balls)
Canning 31 (56 balls)
Last Wicket: Erasmus c. Ridley b. Horne 0 (FOW: 139/8)

Hell of a partnership between these two, I'm really shocked at how long Fernando's stayed in for. But he does have respectable stamina and he's on very defensive, so I guess that helps

End of Over 60: 165-8, runrate=2.75
Horne 18-1-51-3
Canning* 40 (72 balls)
Fernando 9 (34 balls)
Last Wicket: Erasmus c. Ridley b. Horne 0 (FOW: 139/8)

Edit:

Spoke too soon, Fernando goes that over for a well played 9 off 36. Last man in now, Canning to be stranded in his forties?

End of Over 61: 168-9, runrate=2.75
Mckinlay 5-1-16-1
Canning* 43 (74 balls)
Norris 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Fernando b. Mckinlay 9 (FOW: 168/9)

Ogrady 16-8-25-5
Seneviratne* 1 (30 balls)

Munroe ended up with 74, solid effort from him. Tail enders seem to be sticking around in everyone's FC games, could be a reflection on the frantic pace of OD cricket, I guess.

I was just saying to Cameron before - my strategy with regards to playing out the 3 days for maximum gate receipts is - initially, to get an idea of what is happening, I am going to play without any thought to gate receipts, ie; will happily finish in 1 day if it means a victory. PFL is a precious commodity these days and I want to preserve as much as possible.

Think of it like this - if you were just paid for all 3 days regardless of if you played for those 3 days - would you pay for PFL increases? I certainly would.
