Got the training updates now, but no pops. Watkins must be close to popping in something, he's had at least 10 weeks in batting and bowling (including 4+ weeks of 3 nets in each before I bought him).

I'm going to make a YP next week, hoping it's a good one as I can free up around 5 nets if necessary, could do with a young trainee now.

Erm, I'm not sure why that's so unbelievable.

He'd make a great starting trainee for newbies, give him one bowling net and one fielding and he'll be respectable consistency in ten weeks.

Consistency and concentration is the wrong way around unfortunaly. But because his a spinner probably 250+ because of the current market

Scaly piscine

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Trying to devise a strategy to train my wickie:

1. David Armstrong - 19 yo, BT Rating=49,141
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with worthless leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: competent + 67% Wicket Keeping: respectable + 68%
Batting: respectable + 60% Concentration: sensational + 20%
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: proficient + 10%
Fielding: mediocre

The plus figures are roughly worked out from the nets he's had since last popping. I'm trying to devise a means of training him that gets the most out of him before the wages start getting to obscene amounts (because of the stupid secondary wage changes at the top end). I think I'm just gonna end up going for the two batting one keeping net combo just til the keeping gets to strong... hope the extra keeping is worth the ridiculous wages when FC cricket when finally arrives.

i would just sell him scaly. i don't see the value in such a player. its like having a remarkable keeper with woeful batting. a waste of time. i'm certain that would be someone naive enough to bid a lot of money on such a player
