Some great pops for me. Thorp popping to superb really livened up my day:D. As well as Sam popping to abysmal stamina, making it that much easier for him to bat:D. Just waiting on Omardeen to pop to competent batting, and Islam to feeble stamina.

Oh yeah, my first prof batter.

The only bad thing about it is that when i pulled him i put 0 into bat and like 8 into bowling :p

Opinions about this guy?, I'm sorta just looking for a fifth bowler. with the rest of my bowlers being (str-resp-comp-comp) with varying secondaries, but none above mediocre.

Training time...

Some good pops today, for the young Ricky Mclaren:

Ricky Mclaren - 17 yo, BT Rating=5,207
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, lively
A steady player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: competent Concentration: woeful
Bowling: competent Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: abysmal

Now it means the only sublevels I'm not sure of are bowling and consistency - funnily enough, the 2 that will decide whether he gets a gig in the 1st XI or not. I have Hignett - (resp stamina, comp bowling, woeful cons) who is just crap, but gets in on account of his stamina. Rayno (feeble stamina, prof bowling, feeble cons) hasn't bowled a good spell for the entire season, possibly due to his low PFL, so he might get a rest on Friday if his PFL doesn't get up to say, invigorated.

Gray's been at Strong batting for 9 weeks (a couple of 2 nets), and Comp keeping for 8, so I'm expecting pops within the next couple of weeks. Mcmillan has been on Resp bowling for 7 weeks, a couple of those have been with 2 bowling nets.

So maybe in about 3 weeks, Mcmillan will be prof stamina, prof batting, prof bowling, prof conc, prof cons. Gray should be resp stamina, superb batting, resp keeping, maybe even superb conc. Rayno.. well, I'd say, at the most, med stamina, prof bowling, med cons.

But look, otherwise, great to get those two pops out of the way (feeble stamina is too low for a specialist bowler, let alone an allrounder, and I could never play a mediocre bat), he's definitely looking like a player of the future.

just one pop for me, but a pretty awesome pop at that. tbh, i had figured that hamshaw wouldn't have popped to quality batting so soon. the plan was for his batting training to cease when he reached quality, as i figured it would coincide with the arrival of my new spin bowling allrounder sensation. so for now, i'm just waiting on lennon to pop to superb batting before bringing in the new trainee.

this also gives my side 2 quality bats, which should become 3 in the next few weeks. this is great, as i think that my sides top order would be as good as most teams in bt world. we notched up a quality top order rating yesterday on a TIE, without Hamshaw in the team. now i'm wondering about my bowling. only 2 bowling nets being used at the moment. certainly makes me wonder if i'm doing the right thing for my team.

Seamus Hamshaw - 22 yo, BT Rating=26,707
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, invigorated
A steady player with strong leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: quality Concentration: proficient
Bowling: respectable Consistency: respectable
Fielding: woeful
