I have just made a Financial thing in Microsoft Excel for battrick, i call it BatFinance. You just put in your projected balance on the first spreadsheet called Interest and it tells you how many Financial Advisors you should have for maximum profit for Interest. On the second spreadsheet called sponsors you enter how many members you have before the Financial Update and it tells you how many PRs you should have for maximum profit for Sponsors Income.

Ok, huge final round in my league.
This is how the top 3 stands:
Code:
1. Wardys11 13 11 0 2 44 35.92
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Western Vikings 13 11 0 2 44 28.34(me)
3. dizzy 13 10 0 3 40 36.15
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. makhouls 13 0 0 13 0 -46.61(team i'm playing)
I'm confident that I can absolutely demolish makhouls, but should I bat or bowl first, which would gain me more NRR? The great thing is 1st is playing 3rd, so I'm pretty well poised to take first if - The easy way: Wardys11 lose, or if it's a tight game and Wardys11 don't gain too much NRR and I gain alot from my game. Very tense times at the moment.
Ok, I've just won my game:
makhouls 51 all out(21.2o)
Western Vikings 52/0 (6o)

and the crucial 1st vs. 3rd:
1st elected to bat first and are 4/135 after 30 overs.

Am getting demolished here against Rats Hawks

End of Over 35: 228-1, runrate=6.51
Tedstone 8-0-64-1
Mcallister* 109 (117 balls)
Hamshaw 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Holloway lbw b. Tedstone 107 (FOW: 228/1)

Just got the first wicket, Holloway for 107 off 95

The sad thing is I'm on GFI, being the last game of the season. I am playing both Canning and Tedstone though, and their fitness is horrible.

Update 1st vs. 3rd:
End of Over 40: 188-5, runrate=4.70
Denvers 10-1-50-3
Staveley* 84 (112 balls)
Finlyson 2 (18 balls)

If dizzy can get Staveley, Wardys11 should be restricted to around 230 and hopefully first place shall be mine.

*EDIT*
Code:
40.2 W Rudland to Staveley
A swing and a miss. Clean bowled.
:D :D :D

Dizzy looks to have better ratings lately, they should be able to win. BTW Rob, make with the challenge.

Yeah, Wardys have seemed to have dropped off heaps, and I was just looking at some past games and some games where I'm sure I had superb top order and seam have gone back to respectable...

Wardys really struggling at 9/200 now :D

Lost Canning and Birchall early, hopefully these two can get us a respectable loss. Sutton's going nuts, he's already hit two sixes.

End of Over 14: 78-2, runrate=5.57, reqrunrate=7.44 (345-3)
Carden 2-0-11-0
Griffin* 20 (26 balls)
Sutton 20 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Birchall c. Keeling b. Tate 17 (FOW: 36/2)

I was 8/56 chasing 3-311 with the reverese batting order lol. This is getting a lot more entertaining than most of my other matches i should apply these tactics every game. Jayasuriya is still to come in at number 11.
End of Over 26: 124-8, runrate=4.77, reqrunrate=7.83 (311-3)
Ferguson 3-0-27-0
Vincent* 50 (55 balls)
Kennedy 27 (26 balls)

Ridgewell didn't manage to score a century the whole season :@

Griffin hit four (including this one), but only at an average of 76.6.

Anyway, my game:

Rats Hawks 3/345
Erasmus 1/68, Tedstone 1/82, Canning 1/88

Magical Ponies 298 (49.5)
Griffin 117 (109), Nomvete 51 (66), Drench 26* (23)

I'm quite happy about how close we got there. If Canning and Tedstone were fit, it would've been a pretty interesting game I think, as they both bowled pretty badly and neither made double figures with the bat. Good to see Nomvete put in another decent score

Magical Ponies Rats Hawks
Top Order: feeble quality
Middle Order: feeble proficient
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: feeble mediocre
Spin Bowling: woeful useless
Fielding: abysmal mediocre
MOTM: Tate
