Think I've lost my chance of topping the promotion table now - a TIE that didn't go as well as it might have done.

Brilliant, Carrington doing what he's done with Aldred many times before, put on a huuuuge total for the first wicket, but with Aldred having a rest, it's relatively new boy Ken Nix scoring his first 999ers century, and sending us to a win.

End of Over 34: 211-0, runrate=6.21, reqrunrate=4.81 (287-7)
Wilson 7-0-36-0
Carrington* 107 (94 balls)
Nix 100 (111 balls)

Carrington gone, gives Gowshall a turn :D

39.3 W Wilson to Carrington
Drives on the up... oh my goodness, he's hit it straight to mid off! Carrington has just thrown his wicket away and doesn't he know it too!

And that's the victory!

And that's the end of the match. Jamees 999ers won by 9 wickets.
Winers 287-7
Jamees 999ers 291-1

End of Over 47: 291-1, runrate=6.19

Well I confirmed my 4th spot with a comfortable 7 wicket win, the bowler they're selling took two quick wickets (they're a respectable-exquisite) but victory was never in doubt, will have to finally decide how many coaches to ditch so I can give 5 players or however many fitness nets.

For the record I don't care what the staff say, the wages at the high end for the secondaries are way over the top.

Just looking at the wages of the two real stars in my league, it looks like I might have some relief next season cause these guys are probably going to be too expensive to hang on to.

If either of those teams are moderately successful I don't think 20k will be that difficult to manage, especially with income from FC matches.

NZTailender

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
There was an error with the NZ servers I think.

Anyway, one of my bowlers just got a guy out for 193. If he had made 200 that would've been 2 weks in a row someones made 200. Mind you, my side is terrible and on TIE.

Ooop, they've finished the 50 overs. They made 369-3. Sabata (my best bowler and captain) ended up with 2 wickets. Geeze...

What level of PF do use think starts to really effect the performance of a player? I have never played anyone that was below invigorated and at that level it did not seem to effect them much.

I dunno... I played Canning and Tedstone last match on moderate, and Canning took a 5 fer and hit 39*, and Tedstone got 4 and 25*, so I'm not sure any more. I'd definetely not play anyone under moderate, though.

any reason for the match ratings dropping?
i think its because there were teams gaining elite ratings, which would have the effect of making things very hard to gauge in a couple of seasons when some teams, could potentially be getting elite ratings all over the park. this way i think it becomes easier to keep an idea on how these teams are doing...

Must win game in order to avoid a playoffs, now level on points with the guy i just beat, we both play top of the table and second bottom, NRR is close.

Sold last weeks med/med allrounder for 50K which was nice since i paid over the odds for Pushpakumara
