I'm up for promotion as well. Though I'm looking at maybe having to go through playoffs. At least I'll get £75,000.

I'll make the playoff, no idea what I'll be up against though. New wages look interesting. Moore has gone up to 65k - nowhere near as bad as I expected. Looks that a Resp secondary adds about 80 pounds, virtually nothing.

Edit - ahaha!! Look at Lawrence Mccloud (elite/elite secondaries, or could still be elite/phenomenal). He's a proficient bowler, I think, but will have wages of 80k

Ah crap, most of my decent players are having their wages doubled, Malik goes from ~900 to ~3,000. Cuss is going to 11,000+ (he doesn't even have great secondaries) but I assume that's taking into account the increase to primary skills since the start of the season as well. Oh well, with the gate receipts from FC matches I don't think it should be too much of a problem.

Oh and the reporter's summary change is good, though it'll take some getting used to. My last game (v Magical Ponies) was quality/prof/remarkable/remarkable, now prof/med/strong/strong. Should mean that the reporter's summary for international matches actually have some significance now, instead of Australia and England just getting elite everything.

Oh my Lord...And look at his BT rating

Hmm just having a look now, not expecting huge increases

Charlie Allen: £1,989 p/w (£3,536)

Matthew Ridgewell : £1,529 p/w (£3,542)

Eddie Saunders: £994 p/w (£2,699)

Hmm not to bad, i imagine that will increase as well before they are officially implemented next season

My total wage bill went from £27,695 to £40,827, not that much increase actually. Might go up another 10-15k when I buy a couple of new players in the next few weeks, but it should be affordable. Assuming the FC gate receipts are at least half that of OD, I should get 100k+ from FC matches every fortnight, which is more than the 75k per fortnight we currently get from the subsidy.

Should make the players on the transfer market a bit more transparent at least.

Hmm well England still had one level off elite for top order and seam bowling. Australia were only 3 levels off elite in three areas.

So basically it'll need changing again before too long.

None of the games have begun still, I woke up and couldn't sleep (it's 6.42am here) so thought I'd check on it.

I'm off back to bed. :p

Holy crap!

Anyway, I've got an increase from 12,843 to 18,838, so it's not too bad for me. I do wish this league game would start though...

UPDATE: 0840: There appears to be a problem with the application running all the transfers and games. We are working on a solution.

Should be good this week as most of the games will be played at the same time.

Could be tomorrow though. :p

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

My match-- I figured I probably wouldn't win, and played on normal rather than GFI, which I did last time. This is the team who, from the start of the season, I targeted as a team I might have been able to beat if I was lucky.

THCC 292 (48)
Canning 5/66 (9), Tedstone 4/55 (9), Dunne 1/45 (10)

Magical Ponies 5/286 (50)
Drench 69 (89), Nomvete 65 (81), Birchall 46 (68)

I don't believe that... I could have ensured myself fourth place, and I desperately need wins. That was Canning's first real effect on a match, and he hit 39* off 25 at the end as well. Tedstone also impressed with four wickets and 20* off 14. The two of them absolutely ran through the tail, as Dunne took the opener, and then they went from 1/242 to all out for 292. Griffin failed again, unfortunately, run out for 29 off 27.

Magical Ponies THCC
Top Order: mediocre competent
Middle Order: woeful feeble
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble mediocre
Spin Bowling: feeble mediocre
Fielding: abysmal abysmal
