Still waiting for Lankan finances and training to update, so i can't pull any players this week. But i got a feeble academy so maybe there is no point. Last guy i pulled was worthless everything.

I played a friendy last night, first time i got smacked since i stated.

Slackers 9/301 (50)

Ince 86 (86)
Puskpakumara 4/68 (10)
Rangana 2/36 (10)
De Bruyns 2/83 (10)

Brookes 39 (53)
Luxman 28 (41) - No 9 Abysmal Batsmen
Extras 26
Guppy 7/24 (10) - MOTM

All this was after i brought 3 respectable batsmen and a respectable spinner and bankrupt my team.

Yeah, I think there was a bug in training, Gray's projected wage went up by £600, with 1 fitness, 1 batting and 1 keeping. His BTR went up by about 4,000. Ah well -

Mcmillan's bowling form went up a fair bit, as did Rayno's. PFL suffered, I'm going to have to rest them for the next couple of weeks for my playoff :-O

Just the one pop for me:

Gavin Canning - 17 yo, BT Rating=16,655
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, drained
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless

That's a very good pop for me, cause now I can take him off his fitness net and give him a fielding one instead.

My bowling attack looks miles better after those two pops:

Strong/Prof
Prof/Feeble
Resp/Resp
Resp/Comp
Comp/Woe

The Comp/Woe will actually be good for 3-day matches (as he has Resp stamina), because when the Prof/Feeble has exhausted his stamina and is bowling like a Woeful, he'll still be bowling like a Comp/Woe.

The number of training bugs happening lately is pretty ridiculous, there's been problems in at least 4 or 5 weeks this season. Oh well, can only hope that my players will benefit. It's going to completely screw up the fitness of NT players ahead of the World Cup - they'll all be pretty much pathetic unless the bug gets reversed (which there's no precedent for).

Looking on the australian forums, though i shouldnt be telling another countries coach but preety much all the players are useless due to fitness- apart from the ones not being trained

Yeah I had a look at their players, presumably the same thing is going to happen everywhere else. Looks like it's going to be one of those 'we've fixed the problem so it won't happen again, but we can't reverse today's training' situations - which is pretty pointless. Just really annoys me that a lot of players have basically skipped ahead a whole season of training or more because of the last two bugs.

Amen mate, it's getting ridiculous. Some people on here have had pops in primaries in 3-4 weeks or less.

I wasn't lucky enough to be affected by it so only two pops, one in fielding and one in stamina. :(

It makes up for me missing out on the first bug?...

No, but in all seriousness, it's ridiculous. There's an 17yo Australian allrounder who is Quality batting, Superb bowling already. It's the highest I've seen...

I haven't had either of the bugs.

Your example is why it's a bigger problem than it may look. They are going to have people hitting the top of the ratings bracket pretty soon at very young ages and where will the game go then? Yes, you should have the odd person who's that good young but it should take till they are in their twenties at least. :)

Yeah I've not been affected by the bugs as far as I know. All the pops that I've experienced when the bugs have happened have been pretty much expected, so at the most I would've gained only a week's advantage. It does annoy me that some people have experienced huge increases in player levels.
