I've already had two this season, and I'll probably get another six or so. These were the ratings of the other two human teams in my league when they played each other a couple of weeks ago:
Code:
      [B]Doobie Bombers NorCricket United[/B]
Top Order: remarkable wonderful
Middle Order: superb proficient
Lower Order: abysmal mediocre
Seam Bowling: strong strong
Spin Bowling: superb wonderful
Fielding: mediocre competent
Bah. Judging by the NT matches it seems that having maximum fitness and morale can boost ratings by at least eight levels (even on TIE) so I think they will both get ratings around the miraculous/phenomenal level towards the end of the season, possibly even hitting elite (it's been done by a club side before).

As long as I get my 17yo proficient/proficient allrounder tomorrow I'll be happy.

Oh BTW I did get my gate receipts, £183,750 worth. :D Sold out my 25,000 capacity ground straight away, will have to expand again soonish.

Holy moly they got close; I hit 332/2 with Ashton being the Highlight with a dazzling 117 off 121, they needed 110 runs off the last 10 overs, and smashed 99 to finish on 321, just 12 runs away from victory. Close match.

Ashton got a MOTM award.

Screw it, I couldn't wait. Got this:

Gavin Canning (442785)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Magical Ponies
Nationality: Australia
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 3,894
Wages: £844 p/w

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal

I'll take that :)

The only thing I'm annoyed with is that the concentration would probably be woeful if I had that extra ITS

When the new training scheme comes in for older players (is 21 old? ), I reckon that'll be an alright purchase.

Would it be worth starting a friendlies thread soon as people are dropping out the cup as friendly requests are getting lost in the large amounts of match posting and advice and stuff?

Good value for £160k if you can spare a couple of nets after week 8 (although 21 might be the sort of age where the training times for the cons are virtually the same before and after the update). They look to be around 2/3 of the way up proficient as well, which is always nice.

I guess you can train people over 20 yrs old, but not in any primaries

Of course you can, training a player in a primary at 20-21yo is equivalent to giving a guy at 17 a repeat second primary net - plus you get secondary training on the 20-21yo and don't get any secondary training on a repeat second primary net. After the changes it'll be even more viable to train the older players in one primary net.

I don't suppose anyone can tell me how close this guy is to popping in either discipline?

Plays For: Magical Ponies
Nationality: Australia
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 3,894
Wages: £844 p/w

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal

By the way, that was 12 batting, 12 bowling, 6 stamina, 3 cons and 2 conc.

Can't say in which discipline specifically, I'd say the wage range for respectable/mediocre players was something like £700-£1250, so he's about a quarter of the way up that. He could be a one week off popping to competent batting and virtually bottom respectable, or bottom mediocre batting and respectable + 30% of the way up to the next level or anywhere in between the two sets of extremes.

Just to explain the wages further, the base is £700. Sublevels in mediocre could add another up to another £100 to that, sublevels in respectable could add up to another £450 to that. But obviously their wage is £844, so it's a combination of both sublevels to make the additional £144.

Hahahaha, He used to play for me. He turned in the odd good performance, but overall he was pretty poor due to his secondaries

So your saying you would give a 20-21 one primary net? Thats something like 16 weeks for a pop

Yes, I've been giving a 21yo one primary net since the start of this season. 15-16 weeks for a pop for him. If you look at the second primary net for a 17yo, you're getting something like 70% efficiency, so looking at that second net in isolation you're getting a pop every 16-17 weeks with zero secondary training.
