Trying something different today by bowling first, green pitch and partially cloudy and humid conditions should suit the seamers. He's got one very good batsmen (Potter, in the WI U19 side) and a few other strongs and proficients, but hopefully we can restrict them to not much over 200. He's got a freak bowler (Janes) who's in the WI national side, which will be my biggest problem.

Changed my batting around because I want to get Cuss' fitness up, and I don't want Janes to get him out early on. Cuss will come in at four, with 18yo Wynand being thrown in the deep end, opening the batting. Bridge is the other sacrificial lamb, hopefully Hera at three will bat well, along with Cuss. Malik/Gillespie/Gillete/Challis are at 5/6/7/8 so we should have enough depth to pull off a chase as long as it's not too much. I played this team twice in season 1, and the record stands at 1-1, so hopefully I can get ahead today. Last Sunday's non-TIE debacle might cost me though.

Chased down the 263 with 13.5 overs to spare winning by nine wickets, Armstrong finishing unbeaten on 113* off 119 balls, Dillon making 90 off 68, Packer 39* off 36. Will be interesting to see if my morale goes up 2 levels, it went down 2 levels when I was screwed in the cup game.

*sigh* Record low score for me then. Bowled them out for 195 then proceeded to be cleaned up for 131 (we were 26/6 at one stage). Cuss made 60, Challis made 35, no-one else made anything, and Janes took 6-14. Oh well, at least if I'm going to get annihilated I may as well get annihilated by probably the best bowler in the West Indies.

Don't know what I'm going to do about my cup game, my opponent had very good ratings off a TIE today. If he GFI's against me I'm in trouble. I might even GFI since I've got bots in the league for the next three weeks or so, but I'll probably normal, otherwise I'll never get my fitness up.

Should be murdering Parle, highest they could be is low feeble bowling (with dross secondaries), unless your two bats are hitting the stamina wall.
