Talking about odis only.Averaging 60+ in tests and odis over a 3-4 year period is the worst phase of Tendulkar’s career apparently. Interesting.
62 avg at 93 SR is the result of batting friendly changes.

Kallis WAGSo was thinking about 6’s recently. (in tests)
Top 5 all time are
Stokes 131 in 190 innings
McCullum 107 in 176 innings
Gilchrist 100 in 137 innings
Gayle 98 in 182 innings
Kallis 97 in 280 innings
but lets look at the some specialist 6 hitters (min 30 6’s)
Afridi 52 in 48 innings
Pant 55 in 56 innings
de Grandhomme 41 in 44 innings
Cairns 87 in 104 innings
Sharma 84 in 101 innings
Matthews and Sharma have a decent chance to break in the top 5. Maybe Southee too. Pant would’ve been a lock but for his injury, hope he comes back well.
I mean if Brook continues at that rate, he could get right up thereIf Stokes plays for another 2-3 years, he could put that record virtually beyond reach forever.
Harry Brook could be one to watch, 26 6's in 18 Tests.
Super Nabi has done it again today , South Africa added to the list. The record is 46 now.You can now make that 45 different teams with Afghanistan defeating NZ and Australia.
Jaiswal, 29 6s in 9 tests lolIf Stokes plays for another 2-3 years, he could put that record virtually beyond reach forever.

7 more tests to go this year so India will shoot well past this landmark.India have now hit 85 sixes in 2024, which leaves them only five short of breaking the record for most sixes by a team in a calendar year.
Good stat. You didn’t see nothing. Big Daddy needs a Big Daddy ton.Test wickets away from home (including neutral): SEVENTY
Test wickets at home: ZERO
Ajaz Patel the away track bully.
I'd be happy with a KW 80* in partnership with a run a ball Phillips' 60* in a 5 wicket win.Good stat. You didn’t see nothing. Big Daddy needs a Big Daddy ton.
I believe you mean C.A.G Russell. He was mainly an opener, and became ill after that tour, performing pretty terribly (average 30 and 34 over 25+ matches each) in the next two county seasons. By that time Sutcliffe had firmly established himself alongside Hobbs.A.C (Jack) Russell of Essex, last 3 Test innings for England in 1922/23 were, 96, 140 & 111. (Overall, 10 Tests,910@56.87, 5 centuries)
Never played again.
He played First class cricket until 1930.
Just want to say just noticed that Bob Willis was more Bob Dylan than Dylan himself......He was A.C. Russell in scorecards during his career (and later - I have a book from the 50s which has references to A.C. Russell, H. Makepeace, E. Tyldesley, L.G. Berry and a few other sets of initials that you don't get in modern books. Though as I've seen pointed out, if you insist on going by their birth certificates for pre-war cricketers, why is Bob Willis not listed as R.G. Willis?)
