Michael Brauns injury means he cant play in the GF.

That is really sad... hes played every game since the middle of 2003, what a game to miss.
I feel sorry for him and Rowan Jones, great to see how upbeat Brauny is though.

Wow I feel sorry for Braun too. He's such a consistent performer, very unlucky to miss the grand final after playing so well all season. Can't imagine how that'd feel.

I just noticed that that was a very mean email to all those Victorian fans, i say hehehe! Two Non-Victorian Grand Finals in a row, with four different teams no less... Could 2006 have a Freo v Crows final to really prove that Victoria has too many sides.

WCE all the ways.

Better than any of Victorian sides... blood. :)

Honestly two of the Victorian side should go and in should come Tassie and Canberra/Darwin.
Exactly, get rid of Collingwood and the Kangaroos i say!!!

Yeah lets do that..........
I knew you'd agree :p

Seriously though, if they were going to get rid of 2 Vic clubs, in terms of how much money the clubs and AFL are making, they'd have to get rid of 2 out of the Roos, Demons, and Bulldogs

The Kangaroos would go interstate (I mean they've already given up the North Melbourne), probably to Canberra or Tassie (wherever they usually play) and the Bulldogs would go to Darwin.

Their was talk of a Kangaroos move a couple of years ago wasnt there?

With regard to the Bulldogs, given their recent off-field development and increased membership base, it would almost be more likely to move the Demons, although that would be met with huge resistance, a' la when their was talk of a Hawthorn/Melbourne merger back in '96. With every year that the 3 clubs in question remain without a premiership or substancial success, the like liklihood of one of the clubs moving would have to be growing. Particularly as all 3 are recieving $1m+ a year from the Competitive Balance Fund.

But i dont think Darwin would yet be able to support an AFL franchise, and neither would Tasmania, though Canberra could be an option given the success of the Roos up there.

An option that no one has yet mentioned though is that one of the clubs may move to the Gold Coast, an area which has already been labelled a development area by the AFL to combat the immense Rugby prescence there, and Carara Stadium, if enlarged was and still could be a viable AFL stadium.

Hoyts at Carousel is opening cinemas to watch the GF in tomorrow. How good would that be?!

Got $50 on Sydney tomorrow. I wanna make my first Grand Final experience that much better by completely having support of a team. By having money on one team, I'll definitely be going for them :p
