Robertinho
Cricketer Of The Year
Haha Buddh, buddh, buddh..
Bloody great news.SirBloody Idiot said:Great guy?
Ha. Scumbag, same with Gardiner. Both of them are bad for football.
Speaking of which, Barry Hall is free to play.
And what's wrong with Woewodin?Buddhmaster said:How embaressing. He's had a great year, but I just don't think he's all that special of a player. And who really cares what the umpires think anyway? Shane Woewodin won a Brownlow aswell, enough said. Cousins is a great guy though, probably the nicest i've met.
If we believe you lot West is robbed of a Brownlow every yearSirBloody Idiot said:He's shithouse.
And robbed West of a Brownlow that year.
Well, the brownlow has become a midfielder's medal, but let's see if Cousins gets the AFLPA MVP award. That's the award that TRULY identifies the best player of the year, because the AFL players know more than the umpires. I mean some votes were just crap. How Hodge didn't get any votes, let alone 3 votes in round 20 is unbelievable.Buddhmaster said:How embaressing. He's had a great year, but I just don't think he's all that special of a player. The panel isn't too bad an idea, but I disagree with your thoughts about players. Can you imagine how many times matches, or at least crucial parts of matches are shown to the players heading into matches? They'll definitely know who the best players of the year have been, and backman and forwards are more likely to be a show. Plus, don't the players vote for the best player from their club for the nominations in the first place?Buddhmaster said:There should be a special panel for the Brownlow, like there is for AA selection. The players don't get time to see all the guys, and can only judge on how players have played against them, and the little they see out of that.
Yeah, there were some real shockers this year. Especially the way key position backmen (rather than rebounding ones) are COMPLETELY ignored.Jono said:Well, the brownlow has become a midfielder's medal, but let's see if Cousins gets the AFLPA MVP award. The guy is a 5 time All-Australian, and something like 3 time best and fairest.
And anyone ragging on Cousins for non-footy issues must not rate Gary Ablett very highly too I guess?
And who will you be supporting Sean?steds said:Hey. The GF is on tv in England
...6 am though (stupid aussie time zones )
