Hate to lose, obviously, but what a game. I'd like to kiss Adam Hunter and smash Barry Hall in the face, but hey, theres always 2006....

Go the Swans :D! Ahh, what a grand final. Gardiner is a lumbering oaf, I think he dropped about 20 marks.

Judd was at his best, and it was pretty good to see Cousins crying.. ******!

That was the greatest match I have ever been to. Oh my *expletive* God!

That even tops the Richmond vs. Kangaroos Jason McCartney Match which was so awesome. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, the match was brilliant, the finish was great. Oh what an experience.

Congrats to the Swanny fans, I was there mainly hoping for a nail-biting finish (got it) and then secondly for a Swans win (whooo).

I must say, that was so well umpired today.

Even for McLaren, James and the Goldsphincter.

Let the game flow on, very well done.

It did lack Jobbie though.

Hey guys I was obviously at the game (rams home point :p) so I'm not sure, but was there a holding/dropping the ball decision given all day? If so, how many because I can barely remember one.

i disagree the umpires were to scared to blow there whistles.... i believe the eagles would have won otherwise....

banfield running into an open goal 7 mins left and hitting the post stuffed it... delievery to gardiner was poor i realise they were using his hieght over barry but it went way over his head too many times.... losing braun and jones didnt help either.

judd deserved the norm smith but why would you want it.

i won $41 for mark nicoskis first goal p.s. hes my fav player oh and he had a chance to win the game for us too but was just outta place.

You serious? That's an awesome bet! However how did you win $41? Wasn't he goint at 1-41? So if you put $5 you would have won $205.

Gee, I would have given the Norm to Buchanan.

What a game from him.
Yeah he was great, so was Wirrpunda for West Coast. When he clears from half back dodging players he looks like he's gliding, such an awesome player.

Whats really great about Nicoski and all these young guys is that quite alot of them have grown up following West Coast, which is something that we havent had alot of till now, obviously because its a pretty raw club. I love hearing these guys say how much it means to them to play for the club they barracked for as a kid.

Also, I heard on the radio this morning that there wasnt a single holding the ball decision called all day, but didnt catch when the last time that happened was. Apparently, on average, theres 6 given per game.

Was in Melbourne from Fri to Mon and have to say that the GF weekend was the best sporting event Ive ever been to.

Big lunch on Fri
Dinner Fri night
Eagles brunch
Game
Swans dinner @ night (finished at 4 am and then off with the players till 6.15)

Aside from the game, which was as good as it gets, whole "festival" was awesome.

Everything was in great spirit except for Vic fans taunting Eagles supporters on way home from the MCG.

BTW, talk in Melbourne was that Swans may get either Luke Power or Shane Crawford and that Eagles are negotiating with Fevola.

Looking at the positions of Victorian teams on the ladder I wouldn't have thought they'd have much right to do that.
