Swans dinner @ night (finished at 4 am and then off with the players till 6.15)

Aside from the game, which was as good as it gets, whole "festival" was awesome.

Everything was in great spirit except for Vic fans taunting Eagles supporters on way home from the MCG.

BTW, talk in Melbourne was that Swans may get either Luke Power or Shane Crawford and that Eagles are negotiating with Fevola.

Power has announced that he's staying with the lions.

As a lions fan, this comes as somewhat as a relief, though i never really thought he'd leave. A friend of mine told me yesterday that Reiwoldt is thinking of coming home to qld?? I've got no problems with that!

So you'd rather have an inept forward line with the likes of Gardiner? Any forward line who needs a backman to save their asses (Hunter) should be happy to get Fev. Idiot or not, he can play the game and with the way the Eagles midfield will deliver it to him I reckon he will be a great asset.

Then again, why not stick with Gardiner who couldn't for the life of him know how to lead as a forward should in the GF?

Cant see Reiwoldt leaving Melbourne - apart from playing for a good side, he has heaps of media commitments down there.

They obviously havent heard that Gehrig's likely to retire, Harvey has one foot in the grave, Thomas cant coach, and they're a bunch of CHOKERS

He's not a ruckman with that knee, and up forward he has the turning speed of a semi trailer.

WCE won't get Fevola. Fev won't go anywhere, particularly WA. His ego won't let him.

If the Doggies had enough money, I'd love him here.

Harveys playing again, gehrig will play again and thomas isnt that bad of a coach. The only thing that stopped them from winning the flag this year was injuries, having said that, they didnt deserve to win it because of their depth was lacking in key areas, such as backline.
