What are people's views on the rule change?

Personally, I feel that we may as well abolish defenders altogether. The way the AFL have been messing with the rules in the past decade there's not much point assembling a backline.

To use a cricket analogy, the game is now slanted in favour of forwards to a similar degree of the batsmen having the advantage over the bowlers.
