Frothin footy season so bad already. Hopin Swans still have 1 more big effort in them, otherwise it'd be good to see the Doggies have a good year.

Just bought myself a membership, so i'm hoping I'll be able to make it down to a few more games this year. Bit cut about this TV deal though tbh.

Solid Performance from Essendon, Mcphee looks back to his best and some of our young guys perfomed well :)

So it looks like our future captain was involved in a punch-on at a bar. Seems like it's a prerequisite for being a footy player these days.

Im sure pretty much everyone on here has more AFL knowleadge then me, do you guys reckon that Spider will make much impact to the Swans. I think he might add a bit as we have struggled in that area, Jolly done ok, but i think Spider might be passed it IMO. But my opinion not very knowleagable.

If he gets on the park often enough, he'll have a really big effect on the Swans. You'd have to say that the only part of their game in which they didn't improve last year on 2005 was the ruck, after Ball retired. This year that will change, as long as Everitt plays regularly enough. He's not a guy with a really bad history of injury, but as he gets older it'd be of some concern.

Pretty sure it always was. Just that now it gets reported in the media.

Haven't been overly excited about the season ahead, but it just hit me today after the cricket finished that the pre season comp is less than two weeks off. Looking forward to it now.
