I might be late, but I don't think the game has started, if so, just give me zero for that one.
Bad luck on Richmond, 'Tinho. Apart from Freo giving Brisbane what for, I think the rest of your predictions are solid. :p

Anyone happen to watch the first 10 minutes of the Crows-Blues game? Surely the most one-sided passage of football I have ever seen. 5.2 to no score, Carlton didn't go inside 50 and only took the ball forward of halfway once. Unbelievable.

Funny how every Crows game recently aside from last week has taken the same pattern. Adelaide dominate the first term, get a big lead, opposition fights back in the second term and the game is alive at half time, then it dies in the second half. Against Port, Adelaide led by 26 at quarter time, 3 at half time, and won by 50. Against the Kangaroos, Adelaide led by 49 at quarter time, 24 at half time, and won by 56. And today, 40 at quarter time, 21 at half time and won by 64.

Anyway, it wasn't a great game, but Carlton did pretty well considering the gap in class and kept it alive for a fair while. Craig played Johncock and McLeod in the midfield all day and they were the best players on the ground and had 30 odd touches, Goodwin was great as usual, Bassett and Rutten were solid and Hentschel showed glimpses of talent. Ricciuto was terrible and looks way below top fitness, but he still kicked 3 goals. Lappin was great for Carlton, Prendergast and Murphy were good, and Fevola is the most undisciplined player in the AFL.

Season 2006 has officially finished for both Geelong and myself.

At 3-6 we have zero chance of making top 4 which equates to zero chance of winning the premiership. I bet we find form late and sneak into 8th making it a completely pointless season on all fronts.

Thankfully I still have a month of football to look forward too this year. At least with Australia at the world cup there is zero expectation.

What did I say about Richmond making the finals. They win yet another big game. And everybody laughed.

Good stuff by Carlton to stick around. Getting all the hard teams out of the way, each game is more and more exeriance for the youngsters. Our time will come. I just hope the board doesnt get rid of Pagan in some sort of egotistic stamp of their presence. I must say, things are looking good for Carlton (and yes, I know the score)

Davis, Didak and Rocca have made me care about football again, bless them.

Meanwhile, Richmond continues its vendetta against my tipping - dudes, be great or be crap, but have some basis on which a guy can make a tip! :)

Clearly on top? What was the biggest lead they had all match? 3 goals in the first quarter I think.

Richmond were 16 points up in the 3rd quarter and running all over them until Richo decided that he's going to move into the backline because it worked last week. I honestly think he wants to be an All Australian full back, because there's no other explanation. Anyway Geelong score 3 goals to take the lead before 3 quarter time... and then don't get a goal for the rest of the game, and have 1 mark inside 50.

What about Pettifer's third speccie in as many weeks. Fly Pets fly! None beatsh is one last week though!

Oh and LMAO @ Ottens. Simmo schooled him, I know who I'd rather have in my team.

and I'll add Port Adelaide onto my crap-list in regards to efforts to get my money back in tipping. Not that tipping matters so much when my team is winning.

Yep, Lions are doing a great job. Freo have a bad game plan and are playing way to negativley. Also their jumpers suck.
