Thats the funniest thing I have read here so far.

Its looks like it might be the biggest thrashing of the year 120 - 38 with 15 minutes left. Magpies percentage will go through the roof.

What does that mean though?

Last week Richmond got beaten by 120 and now they're top 8 material according to you.

No, I said they are top eight material after they had beaten Essendon.

Geelong are 3-5 and join Carlton in the being thrashed by Collingwood group. At least Carlton were even at half time. Seriously, for a team touted as Grand Final material pre-season this is a absolute discgrace. In all honesty, when you have a great playing list, and the team still can't perform, its the coaches fault. Same thing with St Kilda. Brilliant teams on paper, but if they cant win games, its time to get a new coach.

Swannies were too good.. Barry Hall booting 5 goals, While Adam Goodes had another impressive round..

Lewis Roberts Thompson also comes up with a goal, such a surprise..

Yes, go you mighty Swannies. We've got our season back on track now. Screw those people who wrote us off after a couple of losses at the start of the year.

What does it mean? Look at Richmond's injuries that game, we had one of the youngest teams ever and the worst backline I have ever seen the club put out. Joel Bowden was our CHB and McGuane our full back for Christ's sake.

Geelong were apparently at full strength and all ready to go to take on the Pies. Plus they have a better list than Richmond anyway. Yet they got absolutely flogged.

I could've sent out the Yackandandah Kangaroos U/17's and they still wouldn't have been beaten by 120 points by Sydney.

All I'm saying is Pasag is jumping the gun far too early, where was he last week when the tigers got pummelled? You've gotta take the good with the bad.

I understand, but what I'm saying is that Geelong's performance tonight made a bigger statement about where they are at currently compared to Richmond's performance last week.

The 2nd best defence in the comp was just pummelled. I'm not calling Geelong crap because hell I tipped them this week, all I'm saying though is there is no way in hell they should have lost by that much this week. Rocca and Tarrant weren't even fully fit.

I can only laugh too.

Geelong ended up starting favourites for the game with the TAB. I don't think that will be happening again for a long long time and I sure as hell won't be laying down any hard earned again anytime soon.

It was absolutely spineless I couldn't watch it in the end.

I guess the one thing a loss like that does is we finally get some media spotlight. Geelong is so sheltered, the Melbourne media generally leave the side alone and it is about time Thompson got a decent serve. As a match day coach he is as bad as Thomas, completely reactive at the best of times :(

Bad luck mate, hope you didn't put too much on Geelong. I've had my fair share of losses for sport betting. Its great when you win (especially if you put money on your team and they win) but its shattering when you lose. I've been lucky enough to not have lost a bet with Richmond this year. Bet on them a couple of times and they've won for me.

I've got some dough on WC by +39 points today. I damn well hope they put in a good effort and don't just play a lazy game and win by like 3 goals or something (or not win at all). But surely Judd's 100th + No Hird and Lloyd = WC by over 39 pts. Hopefully.

Sports betting is the worst type of gambling because there is this illusion that you are in control. You read the papers, listen to the analysis keep up to date with all the changes and training and you think you know whats going on. But you dont. At least with Blackjack and Roulette, you realize its the luck of the draw and acknoledge its not in your hands. Sport betting, however makes you blind and thats where you lose big time.

Unless of course it just like 20 bucks which is cool.

The thing is, half the time this year I've just been betting against Essendon for the sheer goal of annoying all my mates who support Essendon, there's like 15 of them (I'm surrounded completely) and I take print screen shots of my bet365 bet and email it to them :D I've just been lucky that Essendon have literally lost every time I've put money against them.

The thing about Essendon (except this week) is that they always have fairly short odds despite being underdogs. If it was Richmond or Carlton and they're playing a top 4 team they're odds are $3.50+, however because of Essendon being a good team for so many years, people have this idea that they still are the team of 1999-2004 and so their odds are never that large, and hence their opponents' odds is never that short and give good value for money.

Carlton are pulling a Geelong at the moment. It is disappointing becuase we are not playing that badly, but when you put the leagues best forward line against the leagues worst back line, there is not much you can do.

Anyway, Whitnall is on fire and looking like brownlow material
