What'd you think of Jobe Watson's game? By all reports he played well.

He'd be in contention with the most improved award also.

Yeah he was great. He, along with Lucas obviously, absolutely tore us apart in that last quarter and almost won the game for them. Essendon were smart and saved him for the end, and with fresh legs he just ran riot. He should back himself more with the kick, instead of handpassing all the time, but that's just about the only really noticeable hole in his game. He's definitely up there for most improved, and thats one promising thing for Essendon this year, their young guns are improving immensely.

Wellman is definently not good enough to make a best of side of the last 10 years.

Geelong are in a lot of strife - 2 wins, 4 losses - and with St. Kilda and Collingwood to come, we could easily be 2-6.

Judd's first quarter was so ridiculous yesterday.

Lions are cactus. Richmond won't make the 8.

Jobe's a gun - old fashioned footballer. Slow, but just knows where the footy is, and knows how to release players into space. Unfortunately, made one error at a pretty costly time, but was still awesome for the Bombers.

Just got back from the Carlton game. What a disgrace. We were leading by 2 points at half time and lost by 72. I was flabbergasted at the amount of poor decsions, basic errors and general suff ups on display. Whitnal was the only shining light in an absolute disgcrace. This chip-to-chip style of play has got to go and the Carlton boys need some serious skills training because todays performance was utter crap. A waste of time, money and effort. Adding to the annoyance was the fact that Collingwood supporters mached us 5 - 1. Poor.

Yeah that was match of the round IMO. Though I didn't watch the Freo vs. WC game and haven't seen the replay yet, and that sounds like an even better game.

Thompson was brilliant, but damn how good was big Shannon Grant. Top performance.

Damn Wells for coming good after I get rid of him from DT, but I need more consistency from him.
