The way Collingwood played on Sunday, before half time, I predict they will lose by over 60 points and I am going to go put some money on it tommorow. Cant wait.

few tough picks this week.. but i think Richmond vs Essendon match will be a very exciting game at Telstra Dome..

but for me the pick of this round has to be from the competition leaders in Collingwood and West Coast

46 by Nathan Buckley, against Freo in 2001. At least, that's the most since they were officially recorded, which is since the early 90s some time.

45 has been done 5 times, including twice by Greg Williams. Williams also has a 44.
I once watched a guy play for my local team who racked up 52 possessions and was off the ground for about 10 mins in the 2nd quarter.

Just thought i'd share that...

Richmond v Sydney you mean I'm guessing? I reckon that'll be a good game too.

Haha brilliant bet! I was waiting to put a crap load of money on West Coast beating Essendon by over 39 points at the Telstra Dome next round, but that sounds just as good. I won't put as much though. I've made so much money betting against Essendon this year (because the bookies ALWAYS have them fairly short odds, for some particular reason) so there's no reason for me to stop now.

I think talk of Collingwood making top 4 is far too premature, but I will say this, their key forwards such as Rocca and Tarrant barely did crap all against Carlton and they still romped home, so if their forwards do get opportunities against WC they may ruin this 60+ point bet. That being said, I'm backing Kerr to tear Collingwood apart. Judd will be tagged by Holland and will probably still own, but Kerr hasn't done anything awesome for a while so its his time soon.

I just added up Buckley's Dream Team score in that match, only (and I say 'only' lightly) 157 points. Probably because of his lack of goals. That being said, Buckley is on the Dream Team score records a couple of times since 2000.

No surprises which two players have the two greatest Dream Team scores ever. Carey and Ablett.

If I was playing Dream Team in the 90s, Carey would be the first player I'd choose in my Dream Team, with Robert Harvey second and Gary Ablett third.

Good to see big Richo getting a 190 score :D 21 marks! A pity he couldn't kick straight though, or he would have held the record.

Bartel's score from last year makes the '1993-present' cut which is good to see. That was the best individual statistic performance I'd seen for a long time.

St Kilda v. Geelong - Season on the line. If we lose another close one I'll cry.
Melbourne v. Fremantle - Two teams sure to mess up your tipping, whichever one you pick will lose. Freo have a surprisingly good record at the 'G. Pavlich and McPharlin v. Carroll and Rivers swings it for me.
Richmond v. Sydney - Sydney are playing rubbish, Richmond are rubbish.
Hawthorn v. Brisbane - Croad, Jacobs and Crawford out is huge. Brisbane's midfield is atrocious. The Bears to win on their return to Carrara.
West Coast v. Collingwood - WC too good at home.
Port Adelaide v. Western Bulldogs - Port are hard to read. They will get thumped or win, there isn't much inbetween. Doggies don't like AAMI. Tredrea and C.Cornes to run riot.
Carlton v. Essendon - Nil all draw stuff here. Carlton lack a power CHF to exploit Essendon's lack of CHB. Essendon's midfield: J.Johnson Watson Stanton Bolton Heffernan :-O
Kangaroos v. Adelaide - No Thompson, No roos. Rutten to shut him out of the game.

Pick the opposite to me and you are sure to do well.

No Croad and no Crawford is a bigger loss for the Hawks.

I reckon the Lions will win this one, even without Aker and a Brown who isn't 100% fit. Look for Power to cut Hawthorn in half.
yeh but there injured and not dropped

If it weren't for the Beaconsfield Channel Nine promotion, which made me sick, it would have been one of the better episodes of the Footy Show in a long time.
