well, even under my suggestion that would still be umpire's call, but that's hitting middle stump quite hard

Shows how deceptive live vision is sometimes, hitting him that high on the leg I had that going over by quite a margin

Can't blame the umpire for that tbh, after the bounce in the first 2 digs ide have given that not out as well.

The umpiring in this match has been brilliantly brave it has to be said.

I'd be interested to know the doctrine of giving LBWs with the reviewing / umpire's call the way it is however.

Theres nothing to explain. He was getting **** all the whole series (averaged 17 and that included an 80 odd in that test) and cracked the ****s because he didn’t like a decision. He’s not the only batsman in test history to have a run like that, but he’s one of the only ones to turn heel and try to forfeit a match over it.
This is when those of you who watched the Gavaskar interview on Channel 7 should feel free to step in, relay what Gavaskar said about the misperception that he walked off because he didn't like the decision, so we can put to bed Burgey's infernal ramblings on this subject forever.

Frustratingly, I couldn't hear it because my nephew was screaming the whole way through the interview.

(a state of affairs nevertheless easier to bear than Burgey posting about Gavaskar)
