yeah everyone jumps all over this until one that nicks the corner of leg stump is given out and, quite reasonably, they then conclude that those should not generally be given out
Also there is a margin of error and it makes sense that when it’s within that margin of error, the guy on the field who saw it live should get the benefit of the doubt.

This happens a lot less often than the other instances where like 30% of the ball is smashing into the wickets.

And last I checked nicking the corner of leg stump is still out.

It just makes zero sense to go back to rely on an inferior method to make a decision after the time has already been taken to go through the superior method. Unless there are specific instances where an umpires judgement is better than ball tracking, I just don't see the logic.
