Ok, unless anything unexpected happens, I will say I have a 80-90% chance of being in Brisbane for the Qld v NSW ING Cup game at the 'Gabba.

Yes I plan to take my camera which means I intend to take photos and if I can get enough I will post them up and yes James (or Andre or whoever) you can use them.

I can't make it to that game, due to family commitments. But I will be going to the game against South Australia on the 23rd (which is my birthday) so if you could make it for that, that would be great. We'll catch up for a few drinks.

Well Queensland got home in a close one today by 2 wickets, great innings by Symonds. MacGill bowled well with 4 wickets. Congrats on the record; most domestic OD wickets.

Well Queensland started the season with a win, but not a very convincing one though. Will need to improve heaps to compete this season. Had they played Victoria or South Australia they would have been in real trouble.

N.S.W.'s batting is in real trouble, and apart from MacGill they will struggle to get wickets.

QLD's batting misfired, but the middle order looks shaky if Maher, Love or Symonds don't make a score. Their bowling looks okay, Bichel was superb today, but Jurgensen is crap & Noffke is severly over-rated. Hopefully Mackenzie can come back from injury & Joe Dawes should improve their Pura Cup line-up.

Well...will we see the N.S.W. people follow through on their bet.

I have attached a file so you can use it for your avatar. Thanks to Dave for helping me resize it...Actually he resized it all.

When I saw NSW's lineup I thought their batting was absolutely paper thin. Their bowling definitely seemed to be their strength (you can take that whichever way you like), so I thought that when they made 225 they almost had a game going. I don't think it should ever have challenged Queensland like it did, though.

NSW seriously need some players to step up or need some back from the Aussie team. I think it would be the right thing to do to send Lee back to Australia to play in the domestic scene for a while, as he isn't going to play in India without some serious injury to someone. And even if someone gets injured, I reckon you can bet your bottom dollar that Watson will step into the breech (QLD have all the talent, don't they :D)

Send Lee back to NSW to learn how to bowl! (He'd still be a force in Australia's domestic scene I think)

Think it might be reversed after the Pura Cup game, especially if MacGill bowls as well as he did today & Qld bat as poorly as they did today.

Will depend on if N.S.W. can get enough runs.

Updated mine too. People will probably think that we're all the same people now. 3 people have the same avatar. Oh well, just holding up my end of the deal.

Bask in your glory while you can, come the pura cup match you'll be wearing the NSW logo (well, I hope anyway :p)

I'm not basking in any glory. That was a dismal performance by Queensland. Without Bichel & Symonds that would have been very humilating. We should have beaten that N.S.W. side by much more. I am very worried about the Pura Cup game. I'm sure a Martin Love 200 will help.

True.
NSW will be relying on a few batsmen to really step up e.g. Phil Jaques

I can't say I've ever been a real follower of domestic cricket, I wish I was but I just can't get myself excited about it :(

Although I might follow it a bit closer than usual as I'm curious to see what our talent pool is like right now as so many of our test players are going to be retiring over the next 4 or so seasons.

Any punts on who out of those mentioned is potential test quality in the future?

P.S: Go the bushrangers!

Out of Queensland & N.S.W.

Love, Symonds, Jacques & MacGill are all test class. Some on the fringe, and some are no chance.

Yer I was more thinking of the young'uns. Afterall Love, Symonds and MacGill have all played test cricket before :P

I know Tait has got some hype, but from what I've seen of him (not much) it could just be that... hype.

Watson, Kruger, Hartley & Mackenzie could all be test class if they get regular games.

N.s.W. really only have Jacques (he still may choose to play for England)

Victoria - White

Tasmania - nobody

South Australia - Cameron, Tait, Manou & Cosgrove

West Australia - Ervine (when he gets citizenship), Rogers

Others will give other names.
