thats so good. Crowey and Jonesy own the basin because of that partnership.

I dont think that left handers have been too much of a problem, in the last few years we had two in our top 6 which isnt very different to most countries. I do agree that it could be healthy for the mix of the side that Ryder and Flynn are both lefties.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/4757707a1823.html yea it will be fascinating to see if Southee can step up and to see if O'Brien can avenge himself from that horror start to test cricket in Australia.

looks like most of us kiwi supporters are going to get our wishes. Vettori has hinted a a four-pronged pace attack, including the Timeister. It looks as though he will bat himself at seven and with probably no room for Grant Elliott. I really like the look of this side because it is our best...

I actually think well go ok batting wise and should get over 300 atleast once, i am predicting that getting 20 Australian wickets is going to be the toughest challenge.

Australia Losing Could Save Test Cricket

Im not happy seeing New Zealand classified as a minnow. We are going through a rebuilding phase but there is a few guys around with some goos talent.

***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2008/09

Tim McIntosh scored 140 today. I have liked what this guy has been doing in the last couple of years and am hopeful of an international call-up this summer.

Krejza's hall was a fluke, he will get smashed in the next few and last tests of his career.

I agree with you guys about Elliott. He is not a test standard player, perhaps ODI's but Id rather see fulton the specialist batsman or perhaps another bowler. Playing four quicks and Vettori.

Which Day of the Test ?

probably 4th day, things always seem to be coming to an interesting climax and often the most thrills are involved, also a good chance of seeing both teams bat.

    Do you rate Mitchell Johnson?

If there was a 3rd option in the middle I wouldve gone for that. He has good pace and can swing the ball but I dont think hes a good thinking bowler, he gets rattled and can be a bit wayward at times.

    Test Captains And Their Tactics

Captain rankings: 1. MS Dhoni 2. Mahela Jayawardena 3. Chris Gayle 4. Daniel Vettori 5. Graeme Smith I dont rate Ricky Ponting at all, a year ago Stephen Fleming would have been leading the pack.
