    F1 hamilton win

I am a strong Ferrari supporter bt I find it difficult to not like him. Its a shame for Massa but I do feel that Hamilton deserved it more and would have won it more comfortaly if not for the controversial penalty earlier in the year.

    Official Rugby Thread

has anyone read greg growdens article in the smh. The guys an idiot whingeing about the ref the whole time. I didnt think he was that bad but more like the wallabies played some stupid rugby. Stephen moore was either off his feet or lying on the ball for most of the game and the ref pinged him...

    Kumble calls it a day!

good on him. The time was right after a stellar career. I now just hope Tendulkar holds off his retirement a bit so we can see him in New Zealand.

All in all it was probably not the ideal series but i think alot can be learnt from it and a number of players have developed somewhat

    **Official** New Zealand in Australia

I am a bit worried about how some of our mediocre quicks might go against top quality batsmen on flat decks.TIMOTHY SOUTHEE MUST PLAY!!!!!!

I rate us a chance in Adelaide as it spins a bit there. We have the champ and Jeets, they have uh... Cameron White I agree that Ryder will do quite well against them as his style of play may unsettle them a little aswell as his ego. probably our best chance to win there in years even though it...

Flynn is bloody ridiculous. Fair enough to bat slowly when saving a test match but when your trying to push it along for a declaration to come out and hit an amazing 3 off 29 is a joke.

***Rugby League World Cup 2008 Thread***

Even though I support the kiwis I sorta hope Australia smashes everyone so they never have a league world cup again.

Aint on tv over here, hows the pitch looking? Is there a remote chance that we can get 20 wickets?

Three nations plan an answer to the IPL

Like alot of you I hate T20 cricket and I think it is doing harm to our game but I am also really exited to see NZ being involved in something like this because so often we are left out of these kinds of things. i.e. Champions league

    U19 world cup 2000

Nathan McCullum, Brendons brother, has played a couple of ODI's for New Zealand.

I dont really see Elliott as a test player, I would rather see him as a regular in the black uniform. I would like to see Southee play but they could both play if it isnt a spinners deck because they would drop Patel.

I think they are heading in the right direction and its still best if they are persevered with. Jamie Siddons knows what hes doing over there so they should get better but it will take time.

im not saying he doesnt have the potential but he hasnt shown the temperament to bat 5 at this level.

changing the subject, I really dont think McCullum should have the right to bat at five yet. We all know how he can play some dashing innings' but that isnt enough to to warrant a number 5 spot. He needs to prove that he can play a controlled test match innings, with a bit of his natural...

stop having a go at Oram. His place in the team is very secure and I actually believe he holds our team together. No, he is not the greatest wicket taker but he does his job of containing very well. I believe that he is a great factor is Vettori's success over the last few years as he builds so...

    Ponting The Captain

Ive always held a common thought about Ponting the captain. He never has been a good one, hes just had some pretty amazing bowlers to get him out of the ****s. That might be changing though as the Australian bowling attack gets weakened.

When will India become Number Uno?

I really dont think Australia are the side they were two years ago. Their bowling is looking in desperate need for some new blood. The Warne and McGrath factor is really coming to a reality. The middle order is nothing like it was with Watson and Haddin there instead of Gilly and Symonds. Other...

Things are starting to look a little brighter. I really hope theat Redmond can keep going and get a ton. The Aussies are getting humiliated, what we always like!
