so frustrating... Jacob Oram has broken his finger and is probably out for 3-4 weeks.

more bad news, Jacob Oram is horribly out of form. I just spoke to my cousin who captains his grade team in Palmy North and he made a subdued 23.

it so frustrating how every single kiwi fan on here thinks that McCullam should be at 7 but the 3 most important peoplcant realise that. McCullam needs to get over himslef a bit and start making some ****ing runs.

***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2008/09

thats depressing reading given most of them are tried and tested guys like Bell and Cumming.

I like the look of that team but I would play both Martin and Southee, moving Flynn up to open. This is the consequent team to play WI: 1. How 2. Flynn 3. Fulton 4. Taylor 5. Ryder 6. Oram 7. McCullum 8. Vettori 9. Franklin 10. Southee 11. Martin

    Best Test/ODI Keeper..

McCullam best wicket keeper in both forms and best ODI wicket-keeper batsman. Sangakara best test wicket-keeper batsman.

definately not McCullum in tests, but I wouldnt mind seeing Flynn being given a shot. Fulton has been tried and tested there and I would rather see him at 3. The best order for Adelaide given the current squad: 1. How 2. Flynn 3. Fulton 4. Taylor 5. Ryder 6. McCullam 7. Vettori 8. Mills 9...

***Rugby League World Cup 2008 Thread***

victory tastes so good when you expect to get smashed. I just loved seeing the look on the Australian faces at the end, they couldnt believe it and neither can I.

yea i agree with both of those comments. Kyle Mills is a better batsman than Elliott at the moment but I would prefer to have fulton brought in as Elliott offers nothing with the ball that ryder cant handle.

oh no, there goes our chance.

Its a real shame that Flynn got out because had we come back tommorow with 6 wickets still left then we were a real chance. We still are a shot but Taylor has to bat through and make 150, Elliott must stick out to the end off the day.

I agree about the aussie tail. The first hour tommorow is crucially important because if Australia can build a couple of partnerships then the chase will become increasingly difficult. We need quick wickets!

Chasing 250 still gives the advantage to Australia and sets a very tough total but it will mean that we are in with a hunt of winning a test in Australia, something that doesnt happen too often. I am actually really exited about the chase because we could be on the verge of something very special.

    My ODI Batting Rankings

Seems to be a pretty good system you have developed as most postions seem reasonably accurate. I was suprised but pleased to see Jamie How as high as 15th!

yea thats so true although he always manages to hold them and thats what counts. He has taken some beauts from juggling them so I wouldnt be teaching him to stop it. I dont think the pitch has been made out to be that bad and I dont think it is too bad. The blackcaps did most of the damage by...

yea, the weather forecast is actually pretty good for the rest of the test after some early thunderstorms tommorow morning.

after torrential rain, hail and trechorous winds in Brisbane things look to be calming down a bit. sorry, i just saw the previous posts.

in that luxurious situation I wouldve brought Southee in instead of Flynn and given him the right to have a slog.

I dissagree about Redmond I think they will get a couple early while the ball is still new. I think that Jesse Ryder will be our stabilizer. I really like how he looks at the moment and he has the confidence and agression to play positively against the aussies. I would expect a card something...
