Grimmett and O'Reilly? Who was better?

Though I would actually love to see how Faulkner would fare basically playing as a chinaman bowling at medium pace.

That was a pretty awesome catch honestly. Huge deflection yet still hung on to it.

Grimmett and O'Reilly? Who was better?

I was always fascinated with O'Reilly being able to bowl medium paced leg breaks. Though I assume it works better back in the day when the wickets were stickier? Guess James Faulkner is carrying on that tradition in a way.

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

Weird thing is I feel like BMac is more measured pre-CWC. Feels like he's getting carried away with the hype he built.

So you're saying that he hasn't earned the right to be aggressive?

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

Sports commentary is always dumb that way. Also I would call not getting out to morkel as getting the better of him. Whereas AB was playing well against Johnson from the get go, so there's nothing there to get an better of. If anything Johnson got a better of AB by getting him out with his...

***Official*** Pakistan in Sri Lanka 2015

That actually reflects each countries strengths pretty succinctly. India is traditionally the asian team with the best batsmen, so they are the best in ODIs. Pakistan is traditionally the asian team with the best bowlers, so they are the best in tests.

Which team has the best tailenders?

Good as in actually good or good as in how you want tailenders to be.

He did get his best figures in that ashes series on a flat Adelaide pitch though.

Way better than akmal, that's for sure. Thought he was really neat behind the stumps. Very good standing up.

8th thread - pick the Aus attack at Cardiff

I actually do think that lyon is far better on a green seamer where he can get speed and bounce as opposed to a SC pitch where it spins big but the spin is low and slow.

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

Doubt it's any more sophisicated then "You're kind of a dickhead eh? Why not go out and stick it to some of those bloody poms?"

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

I'd be more inclined to believe that someone who was able to punch someone because he didn't like him was capable of being a dick without someone having to "instruct" him.

    *Official* India in Bangladesh 2015

Oh god, you guys brought in kulkarni? Admittedly the only exposure I had to him was IPL but I thought he looked terrible even then.
