    4th Match - India v Pakistan

We have never lost to Pakistan in a World Cup, that's only going to further add to the pressure on them if we get on top early. My 11 for the game would be. 1. Dhawan 2. Rohit 3. Kohli 4. Rahane 5. Raina 6. Dhoni 7. jadeja 8. Binny 9, Ashwin 10. Shami 11. Yadhav

    2nd Match - Australia v England

Crushing win for Australia, Finn's hatrrick was inconsequentional. Finch made England may for the drop, the English must be worries about Morgan! They dropped one captain for poor form only for his successor to display some even worse form...

I think you are losing site of the real message of Remembrance Day and all that it stands for!

***Official*** India and England in Australia ODI Tri-Series 2015

I am obviously following it, but such a wicket is hardly a great advert for the game. Let's hope we see better decks for the World Cup.

There should be a bit of a contest, but seeing 220 vs 200 really does devalue ODI Cricket, if I wanted to watch the ball beating the bat I would watch 5 day Cricket. I am curious I see what team we put on the park, I want to see Virat bat at 3 but I have a feeling that we may not do that until...

In what way? It seems like a perfectly reasonable and fair comparison as far as I am concerned

This is an ODI tournament thread and I was asked to highlight my differences with Dhoni 183, the main one is that he doesn't mind Test Cricket and I....

Dhoni 183* said he likes Test Cricket, I personally hate Test Cricket with a dark and secret passion and always have, I only ever watch the 5 days stuff if there is nothing else on the box, it's all about ODI Cricket for me, T20 is ok for entertainment but not as good as ODI IMO.

That is where you are wrong mate. It wouldn't be morbid at all it would be a beautiful tribute to a young man who was battling valiantly at his chosen profession. We have Remembrance Day every year remembering the soldiers that have died fighting for their nation, people wear poppies no one...

I really feel like PC has gone mad here "put them in their place." Is a phrase we often hear with regards to one team or individual trying to gain the other advantage over the other! Yet one poster here is being vilified for saying it. If you dish it out the you should be prepared to have some...

Wonderful point this, it would be great to see Stick Cricket introduce this to the game, it wouldn't interfere with the players performance and yet lays out a perfect and fitting tribute. Stick batsmen around the world would be able to focus on the job in hand while also paying their respects.

***Official*** India and England in Australia ODI Tri-Series 2015

Disappointed that today's match was rained out, but at least we know what we need to do, beat England and make the final, it's a real chance to show that our performance against England in the last game was an aberration which given the ODI performances of both teams in recent times you would...

Just a thought, like how stick cricket have done away with the bouncer as a form of dismal on their game, now that mortality has crept into our sport, maybe it would be fitting if players on the game were automatically retired on reaching 63, it certainly is food for thought.

It depends which team you are asking about, I am in quite a few teams though :)

Australia didn't habe their best team today they were virtually assured a place in the final anyway but now it's all sealed up. From our point of view we clearly need improvements and there are a couple of changes I would make but our fate is in our hands, we are 3 wins away from claiming the...

The landscape is changing in World Cricket

I don't think it is. Take Alastair Cook for example, a proven performer in 5 day Cricket a plucky performer who grinds out scores, but in the limited over Cricket even with advancement in bat technology he has not been able to transform himself into a player regularly capable of challenging some...

The landscape is changing in World Cricket

I think the game is constantly evolving, yes bat technology has improved and bats are better now than in years gone by but the advancement in technology also means a greater level of skill and strength is needed to wield this blades successfully. Much like real Cricket Stick Cricket also has...
