***Official*** India and England in Australia ODI Tri-Series 2015

Australia didn't habe their best team today they were virtually assured a place in the final anyway but now it's all sealed up.

From our point of view we clearly need improvements and there are a couple of changes I would make but our fate is in our hands, we are 3 wins away from claiming the triangular series, we are capable of it we know that, it's just a question of improving our level and executing our skills.
sorry bud ravi ashwin does the press conferences around here

current econ ave is 5.91/over
thats too expensive for an opening bowler.
he isnt even in a 3rd choice team, anyone that expensive shouldnt get picked

gurinder should be the first alternative on the team sheet, because of economy.
So funny. He'd walk into any other side apart from SA, NZ or maybe Pakistan. Imagine the jizz that would have been spilled over him if he was Indian.

Decent match and a decent innings from Smith to win it.

England's last 10 overs were astonishing. It takes a pretty special effort to only make 302 from where they were after 40 overs, but I guess we're a pretty special one-day side.

Am I going to listen to the half dozen guys who've worked with him at the academy and said he might be the most talented fast bowler we've produced since DK, or am I going to listen to halba, a cricketweb poster with a January 15 join date and 22 very ordinary posts to his name, who has sat on his flaccid arse watching a kid work his way back after 3 consecutive summers out of the game?

Words cannot express how ****ing sick of Steve Smith I am

I have gone from intrigue to lols to pity to support to indifference and on to Ponting-esque GET THE **** OFF THE SCREEN AND LET SOMEONE ELSE BAT ness

reckon moeen's bowling looks just part time enough so ****s dont rate him but is actually just good enough to turn it past the bat when they go after him

People had the same problem with Bradman.

If he wasn't coming off the injury run he's had, we wouldn't be having this conversation. How hard is it for people to process that a kid might take a season or so to get things in order when he's missed the previous three? This is a player who is yet to establish a fitness base for international cricket.

This reminds me so of the vitriol that used to fly around about Warner's ability to play test cricket. People have such this ability to blinker themselves and make the most bizarre, short-sighted and ignorant assessments of players.

i hope that was henriques and cummins last odi. both were atrocious.

XI for world cup appears settled.

WARNER
FINCH
WATSON
CLARKE(assume return)
SMITH
MAXWELL
FAULKNER
HADDIN
JOHNSON
STARC / DOHERTY
HAZLEWOOD.

doherty instead of starc if a spinning wicket as johnson and starc are too similar.
Didin't take long for Starc to lose all job security, apparently. Only as good as your last match.

tbh never rated cummo as an OD bowler.he just doesn't seem to swing the whie ball and tends to drop it short. totally diffrent story with the red ball from the little I've seen.Anti Starc

Cummins has almost literally only played OD. Seriously there's only a handful of people in the world who have seen him bowl with a red pill since 2011.

I'd still be willing to bet Cummins will still be belted quite a few more times in his career given the pace he generates, no matter the format. It's almost inevitable for bowlers that fast.

I think it's idiotic to both declare him a future ATG or write him off already. But that's what fanboys and bitter people are there for I suppose.

James Pattinson has far more going for him than Starc, Cummins and Hazelwood combined. Get him in there ASAP.

I don't understand the thinking behind not playing Doherty.

I really like Sandhu in this format, and he deserves his opportunity. However, Doherty is our spinner for the World Cup. They should be giving him every opportunity to play.

He bowled pretty well in Sydney.
