In all seriousness do you think England would be a stronger side in the World Cup with or without KP?

I wasn't not boasting mate simply stating that I purely follow ODI and t20 rather than Test Cricket but I was aware of Rahul's fine accomplishment in his 2nd Test!

I don't really follow that Mickey Mouse 5 day stuff but I do know that Rahul got a ton in his 2nd Test, so I am sure more players would settle for such a debut if they can ton up next time around.

    Lee Retires

I used to enjoy watching Lee bowl at full tilt he was veery captains dream an out and out pace sensation, having read Gilly's book he also comes over as a very genuine guy.

Fair points mate, was all just a bit of banter, as I say I don't follow Test Cricket, but England despite their poor results in ODI cricket will be hoping they can make the tri series final somehow! Looking forward to a lot more Cricketing debates with you in the weeks to come :)

The same number as the number of Asia Cups that England has won. It's all about ODI cricket.

Australia, and it isn't as relevant as holding two global ICC ODI events currently. That being said Australia are a fantastic ODI side at the moment , I think we are the only side along with maybe NZ in NZ that can stop them from winning a 5th WC.

The question was how many global ODI trophies do England hold currently?

Leaving out Pollard but more so Bravo baffles me, the West Indies seemed to have made a very good start with the ball though it is really sad how politics seems to have overtaken everything with their Cricket, every game they take one step forward they take a billion back!

Yes, but the point is England winning a tri series in 2007 when they were getting mauled until last few group games doesn't mean much by contrast we have done well in ODIs even abroad.. Not many gave us a chance in the Champions Trophy in England yet we one it unbeaten. Also I do agree that we...

234 was never going to be enough the fact that Australia were able to try for a bonus point tells you they did not think too much of the total. Starc bowled very well up front the white ball seems to be swinging a bit, from our point of view I think this makes us even harder to beat as Kumar up...

Have to give credit to Australia, they made the game safe then with wickets in hand they were right to try and get the bonus point, it's a ruthless approach to ODI chasing once the result was pretty much certain I think they had a license to play that way.

The problem with DRS is the ridiculous notion of "umpires call" if we are going to have it it should eliminate all bad decisions not just "howlers".
