Has the 2007 World cup format been changed again ?

T&T is THE major centre in the Caribbean. Best medical facilities, richest in terms of real GDP (over US$12 billion for a poulation of just over 1.2 million) and with one of the oldest grounds in the WORLD. QPO is also the largest of any ground in the Caribbean with a seating capacity of 40,000...

Has the 2007 World cup format been changed again ?

by the way, i'd just like it to be known that i think that T&T was given a raw deal in WC 2007. T&T was the best and most suited to host the opening ceremony. Imagine the Queen's Park Oval (the equivalent of Lords in England) will onyl host first round matches! That's shameful and i think it has...

that's correct. India play their 4 first matches in T&T and then move on to another island depending on if they qualify as group winner or runner up.

**Official** West Indies in England Thread

England-3 West Indies-0 Lara to get to 10,000 runs and probably to 28 centuries. Could be another 500+ series for him. Harmison to do well at home. Possibly 20-25 wickets. Vaughan to rebound. Could be a 500+ series for him too. Edwards to be WI best bowler. Probably about 20 wickets...

    The Best Captain?

i think that the ODI fiasco had more to do with selection policy than captaincy.
  13. R

    4th and 5th to reach 10,000

I think the Aussie selectors more than anything else will have to decide Hayden's fate. Don't be surprised if they pull a Bevan on him.

    Sri Lanka in Australia thread

Ganga still hasn't managed to put together the kind of innings that the top order needs. That said, WI really doesn't have much of a top order....btw anyone knows what happend to Wavell Hinds?? He and Gayle were quite good together.

    4th and 5th to reach 10,000

i think it'll be Dravid; or Hayden if he sticks around. he already has 5000 (or just under) and another 40 Tests will see him reach it. He's been in phenomenal nick.
