Rob, can you please upload some of the ODI bowling spells of Akram, Pollock, Mcgrath, Waqar, Donald, Ambrose etc from mid-late 90s and early 00s, if possible. It would be really appreciated and thanks in advance.

"Greatest Ever" Lists - A Modern Evolution

The reason I don't agree with that is that cricket was in very early stages of its life and there wouldn't be a lot of mature/professional cricketers around at that time. Also I am assuming that during that time people from poor families and people who lived far would have got enough...

"Greatest Ever" Lists - A Modern Evolution

Agree with the "I don't buy the "WG Grace didn't play cricket" approach". Answer to your second question: if you are saying he was a an all time great cricketer because of his domination of his peers, I don't agree with that. He did have enormous influence on the game but that doesn't mean he...

Idea for a revamp of Test Cricket

Really good point there. If people are worried about records then, we can just call them first class or practice matches. (what ever you want to call them)

"Greatest Ever" Lists - A Modern Evolution

Agree with those points above. But when you are comparing a player with his peers, you should think about other factors too, especially for Grace because the time period during which he played was totally different from today and the fact he couldn't replicate his success at international level...

"Greatest Ever" Lists - A Modern Evolution

That is what I am trying to say too. People just compare him with others players from that time and say he was one of the greatest cricketers. If these days, there would be someone who would be so far ahead of the rest, he would be considered all time great but the time during which Grace...

"Greatest Ever" Lists - A Modern Evolution

If you guys are comparing Grace record to his peers' records and saying he was an all time great it might not be justified because when Grace played, cricket was in early stages and there would be a lot of amature cricketers during that time. Look at any sport or activity, in early stages you...

until 2000 Murli wasn't the Murli but after that he was as good as Warne if not better. can't say anything about other factors (ATG slip fielder and Brilliant cricket brain). The reason people rate Warne higher than Murli is because of media and he was better to watch than Murli. BUT THE...
