The opposite happened the other night, umpire going to give it out then incorrectly gave not out: https://www.foxsports.com.au/video/cricket/big-bash/umpire-changes-his-mind!713268 this was the best one though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6zEDxAHZJU

*Official* Sri Lanka Tour of Australia 2019

Gabba test is a day-night match, so might be a bit of a lottery.

I've been far less interested in it than previous years, but maybe that's because the Heat have only had 3 games so far with none at the Gabba, while everyone else is up to 4-6 games. With 8 teams you sort of expect to see your team playing every 4th-5th day at least. The weird commentary...

    Wastemen etc

Seems to save a lot of his big scores for Qld/Brisbane Heat in recent seasons.

    Australian test selection 2018/19

Meanwhile a guy like Renshaw scored 340-odd one month ago in club cricket, has had one shield game and then nothing since, can't even get in the Heat BBL side ahead of plebs like Heazlett. Lehmann is bludging at the Strikers, presumably happy enough to be getting paid while not sacrificing his...

    Best Aus XI currently

What relevance does that have to Warne declaring himself as available

    Best Aus XI currently

I would add Phil Hughes to that unavailable XI...... a top 4 of warner/hughes/khawaja/smith would've been pretty damn good with a few years under its belt up to this point

Remember the early seasons when the Heat kept playing literal no-rounder Chris Sabburg? They'd bat him at about 8 and not bowl him either, so he was a specialist fielder. I think he even played in the BBL02 final that they won. Jason Floros wasn't much better although did bat/bowl a little more.

It's hard to believe, looking at this side, that the 6ers were the "glamour" team with name players in BBL1 who turned up to that first season launch in a pink Hummer.

I'll take Burns bowling if it means we can drop Cutting and get someone else in there at 6.

    Shane Lee or Ian Harvey

Shane Watson basically took Shane Lee's place in 2002 and I recall the discussions at the time over which two of Watson/Symonds/Harvey to take to the 03 World Cup. Symonds played a miserable shot in an Aus A vs Sri Lanka game at the Gabba to get out which almost seemed to condemn him to missing...

    Wastemen etc

They were incredible and their collective fielding was probably the most exciting part of that ODI era for Australia.

For some reason I thought Hazlewood was a better batter than this. Hasn't scored more than 10 since at least March.
