Hot takes = engagement. Some folks are pretty smart when it comes to social medial and purposely say **** that would create a lot of reactions, although I doubt Healy is one of them.

    CWC Halfway Stage Tournament XI

Surprise no one has picked Mahmudullah. He has done really well so far, Bangladesh would've done well if a couple of other batsmen would've stood up with him.

Agree, I live in a flood prone area. Plus the traffic gets terrible if it starts raining in parts of Bangalore, none of that is happening right now. You never know what will happen on match day though. We might get a rain-curtailed game, but don't expect a washout.

Did Glenn Maxwell today played the best ODI innings of all time?

Rashid, Mujeeb and Noor are bloody good bowlers in white ball cricket. Afghanistan didn't bowl thrash for the most part. We can argue that the bowlers panicked and started bowling loose stuff at some point, but that only happened coz Maxwell kept attacking them relentlessly and put the pressure...

Are you happy with Afghanistan vs Australia match result ?

I didn't feel good for the Afghanistan players. Wish it was some other team, would've been a lot more enjoyable. They've been at the receiving end of multiple similar losses. Also, Afghanistan needs a bowling coach. If they already have a bowling coach, he needs to be fired. Maxwell was not...

Fakhar. On his day, Fakhar can is unstoppable and tough to plan against due to his unorthodox style. NZ are too conventional, don't expect them to surprise us. But it's a lottery after the group stage. So u never know.

    ***Official***Match #39- Australia vs Afghanistan - November 7th - Wankhede, Mumbai (D/N)

I think the players didn't react well to pressure. But there should've been someone from the coaching staff to point out that. It was a very straightforward thing.

Great, unless they are bilaterals. We need to bring back triangular series' if we are not having ODIs just as ICC events.

Wouldn't discredit Maxi's innings though. He is capable of pulling off such freakish stuff no matter what type of bowling he faces.

I agree. Do they have a bowling coach? Maxi might have still deposited a few if they would've bowled a bit wider but at least there was a chance to get him out.

It's a lottery after the semis unless one of the sides is twice as good as the others(like Australia were in 2003). Don't think it really matters.

Positives for us from this game: Maxwell might be injured. Negatives: He might not be injured.

That's the thing with an aggressive approach. When it comes off, the batter looks great, looks silly otherwise. Not saying there's no room for nuance here. Sometimes the batsmen can take unnecessary risks or play like morons.

One of the greatest ODI knocks ever. Afghanistan had both their highest point and lowest point in a matter of days.

100% agree on this. Can't expect consistency from your number 7, should have the capability to single-handedly win games on his day.

We can create an SL-Bangla drama thread and it'll stay active for the next decade I think. It all started with the Nagin dance
