On the Panesar I think he about as good as Ojha maybe a bit below. But bowling in tandem with the Swann they would have been a handful. The big difference so far between the bowling performances is the additional support from the both ends. Swann had no support from the other bowlers.

The WACA, the same pitch that makes mediocre fast bowlers like Mitch Johnson look like ATG. You sure want that type of pitch the be benchmark of a good track?

You could argue the same thing for England and other non SC sides when they fail in the SC and just say, 'We played well last series at home. We not playing that bad and no major weakness, we just had one bad series.' End of the day both teams like some major weakness, but all they do is blame...

well looking at the glass half full, that side bats down to 9. zampa made the side on runs, as much as wickets. scored more runs then maddison this season, but that isn't hard.

North Sydney Oval probably isn't the best place for leggie to make his debut. Especially one that generally bowls 2 four balls an over.

He wouldn't have bowled better then Swann, but he would have been more useful then Anderson, Broad, Bresnan, Patel and Pietersen.

You got to wonder what difference playing an extra spinner in Panesar would have made on this pitch. Oh well it looks like another overseas hiding for England and India bash another team at home and neither team learn anything to become better sides.

They get most of the money back outside basic Union income from TV deals and crowds. It is the advertising profits of having your brand mentioned in the media. Your not necessary playing SBW just for Rugby, he is basically doing a couple months of ads for Panasonic for example. Panasonic was...

What is the TV umpire rule in the One Day Comp? Is it basically the umpire asks the TV umpire to check any decisions they are 50/50 on? Or is it where all decisions are reviewed by the TV umpire for accuracy?

The fact that MJ back in contention indicates that selectors are concerned about picking a bowling attack with limited Test experience against South Africa. Apart from Siddle and Hilf the rest of bowlers are inexperienced at Test level. If they drop Hilf for Starc. Then Australia have a very...

White coming in at 7 and bowling 20 overs. Does he think he is bowling all rounder again? Some get Rogers out please or call him up to the Australian team. He is too good to play at this level. It like men against boys when he is batting.

Starc will play next game. It will have nothing to do with being in the top XI. But everything to do with bowler rotation. Johnson will also play at the WACA and it will have nothing to do with being in the top XI and all down to bowler rotation. Australia won't play the same 4 bowlers in back...

On certain grounds like Bellrive you can probably get away with bowling 120km/h, but on the road that is Adelaide Oval you will struggle bowling at that pace. In general though on less green tracks like you have at Test level, Butterworth would struggle. One the reasons he doesn't play domestic...

They said the same thing when he come over to Super Rugby and ITM Cup. We all know what happened over there. Regardless what you think of him, he is talented footballers and I reckon after the half way mark of the season he will be back near the level he was when he left. I reckon there is...

Far slower as well, may as well keep playing Quiney as glorified 5th bowler. They bowl about the same pace.
