    ***Official*** India in Australia 2014-5

I big thank you to CA - for stopping the ABC broadcasting the cricket on line or mobile phones, which meant I could not listen to the Test at work yesterday. It may be 2014 but today I will take my trannie radio from the 70s to work so I can enjoy the AM radio coverage of the match. CA...

It turns out that it was Bradman who tipped the press off about the Woodfull exchange. So Fingleton had every right to be indignant

I don't remember that passage. Perhaps if you can recall the book? No loved lost that is for sure. It seems to have stemmed from JF blaming the Don for Fingleton's failure to make the 1934 Ashes tour. Tiger also wrote disparagingly of Bradman and it was good to hear Bradman have a go back at...

ADEPT OR DIE(the death of test cricket)

I agree that Test cricket has been finished on at least a dozen occasions since I was a lad The Ashes appear as healthy as ever, let's just play those every two years. Honestly the only thing I would like is a standard Test pitch that could be dropped into Test grounds around the world. Day...

What paper did CM write for? I imagine he would have been ghosted? I read his bio but nothing else from him.

    Vale Ian Craig

Sad news. Hard to think of him as being that old. As you say a young captain and a young Test debutant. I was just reading about him and his disappointments during the 1953 tour of England.

We have cut the number down to 211 but the final ton is still to be decided and then the writing will commence. Estimate would be mid 2015 but I am just one of the helpers so don't take that to the bank.

Botham vs Snow - Who was a better bowler?

I thought both series were fine efforts but would also just give it to the Ashes series. Simply as Snow never bowled England to a win in the WI series, hardly taking a wicket in the one match England won.
