*Official* South Africa Tour of the West Indies, AUGUST 6th to 26th, 2024-- 2 TESTS & 3 T20Is

CWI scorecard said retired injured but he didn't hobble off or anything like that. So I'm not sure.

Looks like 13 a side, non FC in the end as Dane piedt and others got a bowl.

*Official* West Indies Tour of England, JULY 9th to 25th, 2024-- 3 TEST MATCHES

It was the best I have seen him bowl by a margin. It was at the top end of his usual pace, with every ball over 90mph, but he also got movement and was very accurate. If he replicates that, he will be effective against anyone.

Totally. There are adaptations we can make. It will take time but if it were up to me, I would bring in Pooran and King and say 'you are the most talented batsmen we have ', now have a proper go at tests.

*Official* West Indies Tour of England, JULY 9th to 25th, 2024-- 3 TEST MATCHES

I saw enough from our bowling attack to say that an inform group, in rhythm, with miles in the legs, could bowl England out cheaply fairly consistently. The lack of red ball practice really affected Shamar in particular and Alzarri (though I have my doubts about him anyway). Roach missing was...

Fully agreed. He is now unbalancing the side.

*Official* West Indies Tour of England, JULY 9th to 25th, 2024-- 3 TEST MATCHES

Well that was a disappointing series for us. We were poor for most of it and then when we did have chances to be in front in the last 2 tests we didn't have it in us to force it home. It's inevitable, I guess, with so little experience in the team and such a poor batting lineup. I don't really...

I think you're spot on. Kirk and Alzarri go. Whoever scores a hundred or big 50 in the warm up replaces Kirk or failing that, Imlach does. Alzarri is pretty replaceable, at the very least he desperately needs a rest, he has played every series for 2 years now. Kraigg can't be replaced, we...

Yeah that's clearly a bad decision tbh. Umpiring stats won't mark him down but of it hits a guy who is 6 feet 7 on middle and leg above the knee roll it will be not out 90% of the time. Still, Louis was fortunate yesterday so it evened itself out in this game.

Lol watching this coverage on the ECBs special unit designed to help people bowl over 85 mph when we literally could only afford an academy 18 months ago due to the games finances and having to wait for England and India to tour to so much as break even . As they say, 'games gone. '

He was also doing an analysis of Kraigg's technique on the shortball, which admittedly looks cack handed. But he was then insistent that he should play them like Harry Brook, who has a pretty average record against the shortball and averages less than Kraigg when it is short. Seemed a...

Agreed. Shamar can bowl 90 mph and play that role. Alzarri's batting has been terrible for two years now, totally lacking responsibility. I've had enough of him, let him lead the white ball attack.

Sinclair is injured. Before you know it we will have Chase back, at which point I'm officially taking a hiatus as a West Indies red ball supporter 😂

I keep dreaming that they will just say f**k it and ask Pooran and King to play tests. I just don't see what we have to lose.

I'm more and more convinced that Alzarri needs to rest for the South Africa series. If they bring Roach back, Alzarri has to miss out. You can't drop Shamar or Jayden.

I would like to see one more solid season or A tour for Anderson and Wickham. I'd replace McKenzie with King. But that's way to creative for us.

Can't help but feel frustrated by this series tbh. We've had real chances to get into winning positions in the last 2 tests and have just not been good enough. Not reviewing Root cost 84 runs, I just felt that was the sort of mistake sides that are short on confidence make. Though tbf Root...

What do you think of Kevlon Anderson? I think he is up there with Wickham and should be in this side.

He looks completely short of form. He had a horrible domestic season, they shouldn't be putting a young player in this position. This could damage him for a long time. He needed taking out of the firing line for his own good.
