    Pick the next Aussie coach

Arthur had a reasonably soft run to be fair, didn't he, until India away? India at home (4-0 a good result but series win expected), WI away, SL at home...who else?

Baggy Green ball tampering: Bancroft, Smith and the Aussie "Leadership Group"

I was just referring to this bit... They have to get off the plane together, he's not going to go by himself and then leave her to walk out later.

***Official*** Australia in South Africa 2018

Fair play to Paine, you should be able to ask them to check when you're not really sure. You don't want to force a guy to claim it completely and pretend that he's sure to get it referred up. If he had have carried on then, they would have definitely sent it upstairs.

Appropriately it was a Kiwi band that Australia claim, just as we're trying to ape New Zealand's style of play.

Hypocrisy of the "Hard but Fair" Bunch

Ah, yes, Shane Warne. "I think they need to own up and admit it" "My mum gave me the diet pills".

I thought that Candice Warner was over in South Africa at the time?

    Darren Lehmann resigns

If I were a betting man, I feel like this will get a kick along after Warner's speech. Is Warner another one who goes to Alan Jones for advice?

Hypocrisy of the "Hard but Fair" Bunch

    Perfect article for this thread.

    Darren Lehmann resigns

No, he's speaking tomorrow at 11am Sydney time. And if Lehmann's not speaking the truth, then it'll come out then. The other possibility is that he'll say that Lehmann/Smith/others knew that illegal means had been going on in the past, in which case he'll further incriminate himself and others.

    David Warner retirement thread

The "Bull" will be in a China Shop tomorrow.

    David Warner retirement thread

There's no way Warner's not dropping a whole lot more people in it tomorrow with his press conference.

    David Warner retirement thread

Sutherland vs Easts (is Warner still there?) would be fascinating!

    Australian Domestic Off Season 2018

Thanks. Passed it on to our committee haha, they've been waiting for the day he announces that!

    Darren Lehmann resigns

Exactly. He's said that, and said that he dragged the team into a meeting at tea to ask what was going on. If that's not the case, it'll get out.

    Wade Seccombe I'm pretty sure.

    Pick the next Aussie coach

An outside call - Michael DiVenuto might be one they go knocking on the door of. Very well regarded in the Australian set-up when batting coach, don't think he had a huge amount of success at Surrey this year (??) but a name that might pop up outside of the expected few.

    Pick the next Aussie coach

I've heard mixed reports on Gillespie as an actual coach, but in terms of creating an environment that's better suited to where we want to take the game then he's probably the best candidate. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being better suited to the circuit of domestic coaching...

    Pick the next Aussie coach

If you want someone who exemplifies the idea that what we do is fine, but gets precious when someone else does it, then it's Langer.
