I reckon that's the end for Raper at the Sharks. The latest word is that Brian McLennan is being lined up by the Sharks and the Roosters.

    Socceroos and Australian Football

The great news is that the Knights create chances but the bad news is that they can't convert them! There is going to be alot of pressure on the portuguese player Dani to score goals when he returns from injury, but from what i've heard..he's born to score them so hopefully he'll stay fit.

This deal has opened up a whole can of worms. I mean, what happens if Tevez decides in 6 months that he wants out at West Ham. He was controlled to go there in the first place but what will MSI do if he becomes unhappy? because no doubt Tevez and Mascherano will want to play Champions League...

jesus, Tevez and Mascherano are PERMANENT deals to West Ham! There surely had to be an influence from somewhere, I just cannot believe that Tevez and Mascherano would have opted to sign for West Ham when teams like Arsenal, Man Utd, Bayern Munich were interested..they must have had some kind of...

You can see what they're doing. Why waste $30 million on Tevez and Mascherano, when they can broker a deal for them to go to West Ham on loan for a season to see if the can handle the Premiership style. If they do, then great...they'll cut a deal. If not, then they can move on to another...

Abrahimovich has no influence what so ever? haha...if Tevez & Mascherano turn up on Chelsea's doorstep in a year..u gotta ask the question!

Rossi is a great snare for Newcastle considering Man Utd didn't even want to loan him to the Baggies a few months ago.

Yorke will most likely make the switch to Sunderland, which in all honesty doesn't say much for the A-league if he's moving to the Championship.

First West Indies, then Australia....who next?

Yes there was a statistic shown a year or 2 ago that said NZ had one of the highest first inning averages out of any Country, it was just that their 2nd innings average was decidedly horrific. NZ is a more talented side than they are given credit for, BUT they don't really help themselves with...

Which team rules in which department?

errr NZ are easily in the top 3 at least for fielding..they're certainly above India.

Yeah I was just about to say doesn't Abrahimovich have links with Corithians..so yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they spent a year at West Ham then surprise surprise jumped over to Stamford Bridge.

Well you have to wonder. How did West Ham manage to broker a deal ahead of the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal and even Portsmouth?

Tevez & Mascherano to West Ham!?? what the hell??? that would have to be one of the biggest deals in a lonnggg time. Although it will be only loan moves, I couldn't see them staying there any longer unless West Ham have a remarkable season.

First West Indies, then Australia....who next?

India will have to sort out their political/board room problems as well as improving their player pathways or else all that talent will go to waste. England and Australia probably have the best structures in place, they just need the talent to come through.

    ***Official*** Pakistan in England

This might have been said already but there is a report in the NZ Herald today saying that the ECB have contacted the NZC about New Zealand replacing Pakistan and Snedden has apparently agreed to an ODI series should Pakistan quit the tour.

    New Zealand 30 man squad

Mason is apparently progressing slower than expected with his injury. I reckon they'll take a punt on Gillespie. Who knows, he could perhaps turn out to do what Bond did...he's rated as a mid 140's bowler but that's what we all thought with Bond until he actually got under a speed gun and...

Were Waquar Younis and Wasim Akram ever caught ball tampering?

Im pretty sure Waqar Younis was caught during a tri-series ODI tournament in Sri Lanka some years ago.
