    *Official* Under-19 World Cup 2009/10

You seen the scorecard for their first match man? Seems a shame the rest of their batsmen couldn't build on the openers' amazing platform

    Best Non-Test Players

    Basically i've ignored his under-30 plea because it seemed a bit too tailor made so he could squeeze Klinger in there imo:p made it under 32, lol :) 1. Ingram (31) - 530 runs @ 75.71 2. Brodie (22) - 402 runs @ 44.66 3. Broom (26) - 566 runs @ 94.33 4. Merchant (26) - 496 runs @ 49.60 5. De...

Seems as if he bowled well, lol. Styris' form heading the right way, aswell as Butler with 6 wickets. Like how ND are mixing up their batting order, though must be said Flynn & Marshall's roles are basically specialist fielders

    The Green Thread

Hmm yea plenty of depth across the whole squad so if anyones form dips then i'd say they can expect to be dropped fairly promptly, lol. Plenty of batsmen & bowlers waiting in the wings..

    The Green Thread

Not the greatest start but not too bad either. Very encouraging signs from the new look batting line-up against a very good attack. Need Rose to have a big FC season and signs are looking good for him with 2 wickets & 4 catches dropped off his bowling in the first innings

    Cairns: "Hero? Me? Never"

It sounds like Romanos more trying to have a dig at Cairns' personality, probably just because Cairns doesn't seem as down to earth as say Vettori, RIchie McCaw, Dan Carter etc. He doesn't even know they guy, it's not like he's criticising Cairns cricketing ability at all. I cannot think of a...

Do You Like To Talk About Cricket?

It's funny when you hear a group of people near you having a couple of beers loosely discussing cricket then you hear them say something that is incorrect or they are trying to think of an overseas players name but none of them can remember it, I always love being the guy who casually buts in...

2006 u/19 World Cup - Where are they now?

*Marc Ellison - not exactly following in the footsteps of previous under 19 captain Ross Taylor, haven't heard of this guy at all Todd Astle - progressing top order bat & legspinner, though both of his attributes are currently deemed unfit for the shorter forms Dean Bartlett - haven't heard of...

    Indian T20I selections- what's best?

 Did they? I thought they all got quite a bit of T20 experience from the defunct Stanford series. They had been playing T20 cricket as long as anyone, though admittedly not the same sheer volume of matches.

Damn gutted I was talking up Aldridge lol came in for Williamson & looks as if he had a shocker, although I didn't actually see the game.

    Most promising young batsman

Williamson should be a high quality number 3 in time. What about Mitchell Marsh coming into the tough Aussie domestic comp and scoring runs consistently across all forms at such a young age.
