    *Official* Pakistan in Australia

His bowling is definitely frontline quality, the fact is he's just being used a bit like a part-timer, for a variety of reasons - already got 3 quicks, don't want to run a top order batsman into the ground etc.. If your statement is in direct regards to his bowling as opposed to the way Ponting...

He picked up a shoulder injury a couple of weeks ago IIRC. Press release said he'll be out for 6 weeks so good to have his batting mustn't be easy playing with a fresh shoulder injury

    Overcoming bowling yips

Wow man sucks to hear. Gavin Hamilton is one example I can think of. I've had alot of ups and downs with my bowling wouldn't say i've mastered everything by any stretch, but i'm still a pretty steady opening bowler nonetheless. I remember when I was younger when I seemingly forgot how to bowl...

Yeah AWTA Southee just seems to only sporadically hit his line and length. He will bowl some crackers but too often he's too short and/or too wide. He needs to be where that opening ball he bowled to Papps was alot more often, then he will be a really potent force imo.

Nice. IIRC that's not the first game he's won with the bat. When he was at the crease I couldn't help thinking that i'd seen him close off a match with the bat before Maybe he needs to start using that Mongoose bat:laugh: Seriously he must have been using that thing in the nets more than his...

Just watched Waikato win the 7s that was about as good, Mikkleson running 80 metres on fulltime to break the draw. Went to school with him a bit he played first five for our rugby team and batted at 3 and kept wicket for our cricket team

Frauenstein looked a much improved bowler from when I last saw him, seemed a quality death bowler he looked awfully tough to get away. Man he's got some eyebrows on him though lol

Yeah definately not a wicket taking action. Marshall is a crap T20 middle order player but since he is captain I don't think we will see Parlane again and probably not Devcich either with Dilshan due to play the next game(unless Flynn is left out again) Really wana see Aldridge out there too but...

**** yeah that was an absolute god of a cricket match, at 75/8 i was feeling pretty ****ed off with canterbury mainly because of Harris' bias commentary but Scott got me jumping all round the house man i wana jump all over him tbh... hahaha canterbury

Really think Vettori got all of his bowling changes/orders 100% right today, great signs for the rest of the competition from an ND perspective. Looks a great cricket wicket there in Christchurch too. Man the spots are contentious at ND though Flynn, Aldridge & Boult all left out plus Dilshan is...

Mitchell Johnson bowling over the wicket to right handed batsmen

I think it is partly the trajectory that Johnson delivers the ball at combined with his pace, and when he hits that length a little short of a half volley outside off stump he can draw a batsman into a shot when they would normally leave the ball. And it only really happens against right handers...

He's a huge scorer in local club & provincial cricket, expect to see alot more from him in the future. Also a decent left-arm spinner

Wow, your not wrong there. Just read an article where Garner & Ramnarine were asking for a longer FC season(12 rounds min). Assuming those calls went ignored

    Pakistani fielding

Yeah i'd say, it's so rare in NZ club/school cricket to have a quality outfield.

    Worst Nation of the decade?

They had Franklin & Redmond still fit iirc. Franklin replaced Ryder in the above match. He also played this match prior to the one above, 3rd Match, Group B: South Africa v New Zealand at Centurion, Sep 24, 2009 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com Also, 3rd ODI: Australia v New Zealand at...
