  • That looks savage. Don't like the way it just blisters immediately, bet it's bloody painful. I'd stick with the Est 1991 if I was you.
£50 a session's a good price from what I've read on the net. I was reading upwards of £150 a session, and then it takes quite a few of those sessions to see a change. Regretting your choice of tattoo already?
How exactly do you plan on just removing the words that are already there? It's very expensive to get tattoo's removed, it's supposedly very painful and it can take a long time for the tattoo to fade. Good luck with that.
For the record, I think the original design looks better anyway.
You like initials don't ya! Just hope your mum's name doesn't begin with an M, 'cause then you'll have boyfriend and mother****er tattoo'd on ya.

I'd love to have the money and the facilities to train MMA seriously, but that's not an option atm. The design doesn't have anything to do with MMA though. Just something I believe to be something everyone should have, if you can't honour and respect people then you'll never get anywhere in life. Wikipedia has a pretty nice definition of honour: evaluation of a person's trustworthiness and social status based on that individual's espousals and actions. Honour is deemed exactly what determines a person's character: whether or not the person reflects honesty, respect, integrity, or fairness.
Randy Couture's 46 and he's still fighting strong and getting better. His body's in a far better condition than Angle's though, Angle's is a mess because of all the broken neck, roids and painkillers.

Kanji looks so much better than English characters though. It'd look **** having the whole word Honour written on your pec as well. Either it'd be too big and ruin the idea, or be the writing would be too small and unreadable.
Angle may have been injured against Puder, but he was still outclassed by him and would have had his shoulder snapped if he wasn't bailed out by the ref. I actually was just reading a thread on another forum about his training regime, that's why my argument changed there, and if Angle's not exaggerating it, it's very impressive, amazed he managed to avoid doing serious damage to himself training that hard though. That's because when this discussion started it seemed like you believed Angle could walk straight in now and dominate, which is just ridiculous. He would get beaten by a couple of lightweights if he came into MMA now (Shinya Aoki and BJ Penn). Also, surely the fact that your argument hasn't changed 1 bit is proof that it's you that's blindsided, not me? ;)
    ****ing brilliant.

The broken neck is a decent point, but it still doesn't alleviate the fact that Angle would be too small for HW. If he'd started training MMA straight after the olympics he could have cashed in, like Couture did against a weak UFC HW division and a lack of real talent. In 2010 he'd be destroyed at his size. Guys like Lesnar, Mir, Dos Santos, Velasquez and Carwin would all be much bigger as well as having a huge amount of MMA talent. Unless Angle managed to learn high level striking (which few wrestlers have ever achieved) he wouldn't dominate the HW division.
You calling me to blindsided in this argument is FB. Your whole argument is based on your obsessive man-love for Kurt Angle, you've got zero apparent knowledge of Mixed Martial Arts, so you've got no basis to apply your theories. It's not just Randy Couture that's realising he's too small for the HW division. Frank Mir decided he needed to bulk up and gained over 20lbs to get himself up to over 265. Brandon Vera dropped down to LHW 'cause he was too small. Mark Coleman realised he was too small. Coleman's an olympic calibre wrestler too, and wrestled at Angle's weight class of 100kgs and he's now realised he's too small, as one of the keys to a Wrestler dominating at a weight class is due to size. Lesnar's wrestling is not as good as Couture's, but he was able to neutralise that with his superior size and strength. Angle's conditioning would have helped him, but it would have been physically impossible to keep his olympic level of fitness up whilst training for professional MMA.
 Yeah, it was a weak comeback, but tbf, it was a Mum joke, I wouldn't go shouting about it if I was you. You know you've reached a knew low when instead of replying to me you bring up a pretty terrible Mum joke you made several days ago. The reason you didn't reply to the point about Angle being too small for the UFC HW division, is that you knew you were wrong. We both know it. Nice attempt at another 'own' in the tattoo thread too, it failed btw, just made you look like more of a ****.

Also, been meaning to say this after reading a couple of your posts. It's HE'S not his. For example, it's "he's not laughing anymore" not "his not laughing anymore". Pedantic, but it annoys me. Sort it out.
Hate the font, just personal opinion mate, I think it looks horrible, I didn't like the original design either though. What does the text at the bottom say?
I like the RSB Pads, really cool style. I've got Woodworm pads, they're pretty nice, do the job anyway. I've use a Slazenger helmet, Adidas Gloves, Woodworm pads, Adidas thigh guard and Gunn and Moore Icon bat, the one Watson was using before he got his new Flare. Such a nice bat, cost me £160 but it's so nice, such a sweet pick-up and a brilliant middle (when I manage to find it :p)
Only writing him off at Heavyweight. I don't think he'd be good enough all-round to challenge the top heavyweights at his natural weight. Randy Couture weighs about the same as Angle and he's recently dropped down from HW to LHW 'cause he realised he was too small for the division. Fedor Emelianenko (best HW fighter in the world, arguably the best pound for pound fighter in the world) only gets away with weighing 235 at HW because he's just an all-round beast. Great grappler with excellent wrestling, striking and jiu-jitsu and a very impressive Sambo background; wrestling alone in MMA is very heavily reliant on size, that's why Lesnar was able to defeat Couture, who's probably a superior wrestler. Angle could have been a beast at 205 with the right training though.
Ah right, need to get yourself some new gear mate. Reckon you should invest in some Gunn and Moore RSB Pads, you know you love Ravinder Singh Bopara ;). Looking forward to giving the new gloves a try on Sunday for my 1st winter net session of the season. Roll on April, can't wait for the new season!
Have you seen Lesnar fight MMA? He's a completely different beast to the 315lb muscle freak that Angle was shoot wrestling with in their WWE days. He's a lot quicker, has far more agility, yet still incredibly strong. Normally in MMA wrestler vs wrestler fights result in the wrestling being negated, and the fight relying on striking ability. Lesnar would have an experience, power and reach advantage in the striking game, and he proved in his fight with Couture that if he hits you, you stay hit. He barely connected on Couture, yet basically knocked him out, before finishing him on the ground with hammer fists. Also, given Lesnar's jiu jitsu training, he'd be able to use his strength and technique to sweep Angle from the bottom, if Angle could actually get Lesnar to the ground that is. I see no way Angle could beat Lesnar, even with the training. Couture at 205 would be another matter though.
My new batting gloves came this morning btw =D £45 for the new Adidas Pro gloves, they're bloody nice. Most comfortable gloves I've tried so far and they've got some quality protection as well by the looks of things. You got the Adidas gear in Australia yet? What gear do you use?
I don't think he would though. He'd do well at 205lbs, but he's too small to dominate a guy like Lesnar. He's billed at 240lbs, but he's more likely closer to 220, which is far too small for HW. Unless you're mega technically talented like Fedor Emelianenko, you need to be up at least 255lbs to challenge Lesnar, ask Frank Mir. Brock out wrestled Randy Couture, and he's been adapting his greco-roman wrestling to MMA for 13 years. Angle would need some serious striking training, and jiu jitsu training to stand a chance against Lesnar. At 205lbs Angle could have been a Couture-esque beast with the right training, he wouldn't just jump right in and dominate from the off though, certainly not against a huge bear of a man like Brock Lesnar with his lunchbox fists. Angle's wrestling would go out the window as soon as he took a hammerfist from Brock.
