    *Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Wasn't having ago at you in the first place, tbf. I've done it myself.

    *Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Constantly laughing at him after every over.

    *Official* Pakistan in England 2010

It's funny how you desperately want him to do well, but you are also taking the piss out of him to in the process to try and calm your nerves with this edgy batting performance.

    *Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Neither of them are/were brilliant. But they get in the side and they'll actually score some runs and their selection will probably boost Umar Akmal's batting aswell. Neither of them will be world beaters, but atleast their good enough to play Test cricket.

    *Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Sehwag wouldn't be doing any better if he were playing in England at the minute. Pakistan would be the best team in the world if Younis Khan & Mohammad Yousuf were in the team. Would give their batting some solidarity and Umar Akmal would probably score big runs if he were coming in...

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

So you finally agree that Hayden > Sehwag and that Tendulkar > Ponting > Hayden > Sehwag. (y) What's with all of this SehWAG nonsense? His a cricketer not a ****ing gigolo.

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

    Bowled to better batsman tbf.

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

If that's the case then Hayden's hundreds against Ishant Sharma in 2007/08 should count as high as scoring hundreds against all of the 90s bowlers because during that series Sharma bowled as well as all of them at their pulp. Funny how he can look like a great bowler on Australian pitches but...

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

He was past his best. Murali's bowling been on a steady decline since just before he took Warne's record. Much like Ponting's batting - his well past his best, capable of playing the odd good knock - but definately a shadow of the batsman that he was. Facing Murali at his best would rate higher...

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

Hayden faced Murali at his peak. Sehwag didn't. Murali was past his best before he surpassed Warney's record in last 2007 - he wasn't near the bowler he was.

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

That's pretty hypocritical of you to ignore the ICC World XI match considering that you're trying to say that Hayden faced weak bowling in Australia but yet you want to exclude possibly the best attack? Also the fact that that was a low-scoring match and Hayden was head and shoulders above any...

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

Johnson and Tait were rubbish when Sehwag faced them? No one in Australia wanted Johnson in the side and he was averaging 35 with the pill whilst Tait was on the brink of exhaustion and retired from Test cricket after the Perth Test. Stuart Clark has always bowled poorly at Adelaide - probably...

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

No he didn't. An injured Gillespie? Brad Williams? Nathan Bracken? Brett Lee in the worst form of his career? Nice try, but no. Sehwag wasn't even good enough to make the first Test the last time India toured Australia.

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

Kumble and Harbhajan no good on days 4 and 5? Sehwag's second innings stats of 1592 runs @ 31.21 suggests that if there is enough in the pitch to force a second innings that Sehwag generally fails.
  15. wfdu_ben91

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

Hayden doesn't play 80% of his career in Australia. Nevertheless, Hayden played and scored runs on result pitches in Australia. Sehwag's played 25 odd less Tests but already played in more then twice as many draws then Hayden.

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

    1. Sehwag actually played 3 innings prior to 2008 and averaged only 18 against Murali. Murali was past his best by 2008 - regardless of his success in that series, he wasn't the same bowler he once was - trying to suggest he was is laughable. Mendis was also playing in his first Test series. 2...

Hayden vs Sehwag (+ other tasty treats)

Sehwag has inflated performances on flatpitches as he only scored runs against Murali post 2008 (when Murali was obviously past his best) while Hayden scored runs against Murali in Sri Lanka when Murali was at his peak in the early 00s, Sehwag is useless when the ball is moving around and his...

Will K.P ever be an all-time great?

Warne took 40 wickets in 2005 and McGrath won player of the World Cup just fewer months after the World Cup. Remember Lords 2005 when Pietersen came in at 5-21 in the middle of one of McGrath's best ever bowling spells and ended up smashing him around on debut? McGrath & Warne could've gone on...
